Talent is there to win the league absolutely, I agree. The whole Jed thing is a mess. I think the position switch in itself is understandable. He can't hardly play football, but is immense in the air. But it hasn't worked and he still hasn't even had a game where he's been above average in that position. So for Bruce to persist with it and leave us in this position is seriously remarkable for such an experienced manager with all the resources available. I don't rate Bruce at all but I'm still surprised he's let this happen. Maybe he wanted an excuse in his back pocket ?

His left foot is brilliant, but he's still right footed I think. Takes pens with his right foot. Just realised I've presumed he's right handed because of that. Well, that's weird as well. People who kick with their right and write with their left are aliens.

He's done some fine work lowering expectations at Aston Villa. Press and now fans treat his results like great achievements and compare them to previous managers' efforts in the Premier League. He's bad news, and every day he's here is only damaging us further.

I agree totally apart from the last bit. Never ever rated Adomah, but he had that mad run last year when everything he hit went in. Sending him to a promotion rival is asking for trouble though. What if suddenly has another run of form like that?

Bruce is getting himself the sack. Getting rid of Adomah and Green is very odd.

Good for you enjoying last season, hope you're enjoying yourself this year as well. Enjoying the football is a great supplement to the season if we aren't going to go up I'd say. I thought it was total crap last year. It's been clear the wrong man is in charge for over a year now. So I want him sacked because he can't get us up, and plays consistently terrible football with a fantastic squad at his disposal. If I enjoyed the football last season, I may want a change, but I wouldn't be banging the doors down as I like watching up play. Is that where you are? I'm jealous if so, be great to enjoy watching your team. One day I'll have that again - it won't be under this manager though.

Ah now, what did Rafa do in this division though? Steamrollered it and won the league. It's easier to play and score down here. We should be enjoying ourselves watching something that resembles football in our position.
