  1. Bruce has messed up big time with the squad structure yes but if he were to leave we could still go up. Douglas is great, but my point was that they haven't revamped their team that finished 13th. I think our squad is just as good as theirs yes. I think it unlikely we'll be seeing our squad play to potential until there's some changes.
  2. Great post. He's acting like an unpleasant, spiteful douchebag.
  3. We'll have to see how they get on as the season progresses. How do you think we'd look if we had Bielsa since June and they had Bruce? I think we'd be top and look like a million dollars.
  4. I was sure Bruce would be the man. It was so well setup to be a hero here. He was pretty much given a blank chequebook to add to an already good squad to get us out of this terrible division. Still beggars belief he's messed it up this badly. Where he's point scoring with his own fans after beating Rotherham at home. Made all the more pathetic when he actually gets 99.99% support at the ground. I think he's upset and knows how badly he's screwed this up. Finished as a manager which is why he's waiting for his payoff.
  5. He's doing so much damage. Every day he's here were sliding backwards and becoming a football league club.
  6. We do!!! Good lord, three exclamation marks, I might faint. Leeds have a left back with 1 season of championship experience as part of a brilliantly setup wolves side, and 21 year old winger on loan from City. That's it from last year! OK. Bamford was their big money but he's hardly starred. They are a great example of what a proper manager can do with some training. They've hardly gutted the squad that finished 13th last year! They've just started playing football and now you're using them as an example of a team with more talent than us.
  7. So a few months you've wanted him out then. Four-ish with a bit of a dip in the middle when you thought getting him to stay might be sensible. You have said you enjoyed the football last season. Are you enjoying this season? Do you think the football is good again? Hope so. Curious because it's identical as last year for me, total crap where we pick up results because our personnel is obscenely strong for the division. I wonder if your feelings towards him might differ if you watched football you hated for 18 months? That's where a lot of frustration comes from. Hopefully you won't have to suffer that because he'll be gone before then. Then again, maybe you wouldn't anyway if you enjoy watching the team he's put together? People see things differently, but if I liked his football last year I don't think I'd want him out. Good chance of promotion and good football most weeks. Sounds great.
  8. Pathetic comments from our own manager.
  9. Months? Interesting. Since the summer?
  10. Who is he referring to having a go at him? Did he say local press? Evening Mail don't touch him. WM?
  11. Yes he is. He's wasting his career at Villa with our current club situation. Which is good for me as I get to see him play. He's probably looking at Maddison on the cusp of the England squad and even Leeds suddenly playing football and wondering if he's made the right decision to stay here.
  12. Jesus, it absolutely will. It'll follow us forever. A pathetic man and a horrible manager. Wonder if the people who have decided to defend so much of his wank will stick with him for years to come.
  13. Dunno, don't care. What's your point? If you're a villa fan who doesn't want Bruce to leave atm you must work for the evening mail or be a real silly billy. Agreed. We're not hysterical we just don't like you would get nicely under his skin. He'll get press backing no matter what happens tbh so even something twee like that will get blown up. I hope he gets slaughtered so badly it makes him walk. He's stolen enough money from this club.
  14. In his back pocket I'm certain. He's saved it for so long now I actually think he's waiting for the pay-off he's so desperate for. Waiting for his Goals on Sunday appearance alongside his gonk of a son as they skirt around it before agreeing when Kammy brings it up.
  15. Watching him play, not reading stats. He's farcically good. We got to the playoff final solely because of him. He almost scored a preposterous goal carrying it from the half-way line during that final. We almost got promoted because of one player. I'd pay to watch him in 5-a-side instead of watch this current Aston Villa side without him.
  16. Switch Saiz and Grealish round and you'd soon be certain of winning the league. Grealish is so good. And Saiz would be brought down to our shitty level and look like he could hardly play football.
  17. Agree, very worrying. It'll take some time to wash the skidmark of Steve Bruce away. What a disaster in so many aspects. So much chat last year trying to find some positives in what he's done and just look at us. Disjointed mess. No better off than when Di Matteo was here.
  18. They won't because someone will come and buy their best players in January, and then again in the summer. And they'll still be OK because they've got a good manager who can fit largely cheap and unknown players bought for him into a system. The chump we've got can't get the best squad in the league to look like they've trained together.
  19. Of course he is. Bet he feels like a right plonker for staying for this.

Hope they were busy assessing targets through the break.
  21. Didn't he try and pie Adomah off on deadline day? How can it go from that to him starting? What's the thinking?
  22. He's done. He's exhausted, bored and wants his payoff. He couldn't make it any more obvious. Incredible squad ability-wise so we should be able to pick up wins during this purgatory we're floating around in.
  23. Alan Hutton was silent during his 12-18 months on the sidelines. He was roundly praised on his return.
  24. When we get back we've got Blackburn who try to play Mowbray's passing football. Some real strength available to us now with Abraham and Bolasie but even with them I cannot see us keeping Rovers out. Dack will be fit and well rested for them having missed a game or two. I think we'll lose and then face Rotherham at home three days later. Oh my, that match could get ugly if we go behind. He's in for a shock if he thinks he's seen upset fans. He's waiting for his payoff now though. Lost interest and knows the players are against him. That's why he keeps criticising them.
