  1. They're best players going forward are their wide men. Bowen and Grosicki. Uh-oh.
  2. Get the big man out at LB churning up turf on the wing like Wilfred Bouma in full flight.
  3. If MON succeeds at Forest it'll give them all at least 4 more years of cliches they'll trot out with no basis.
  4. He is fairly similar to Grealish in style I think. Languid style, shows for the ball and slows the game down to his pace. When Jacko is back, a midfield of him, McGinn and Sawyers might be a bit slow going forwards, but there's plenty of ability on the ball.
  5. Don't forget good looking.
  6. I could see the ideal happening for Forest. He gets them up with hard work alone. Then falls out with the owners over buying players and leaves. It'll give a huge boost to the dinosaurs still around if he succeeds. They'll be able to go on about it for years. If he fails, it looks less likely that Hughes, Moyes will get much of a decent gig.
  7. Only starting with 10 would very much send a message to the wide men they need to pick up their game.
  8. This is probably it for the season. If we don't win the crowd will go which doesn't bode well.

    Divers

Defenders are much worse at diving in the modern game than forwards. So so often they hit the deck when in trouble and refs give soft fouls because it isn't a penalty.
  10. Glad he got given last week off so he could come back in fully energised. Wimp.
  11. Pressure is building on him to come in and instantly turn us round. Luckily Jack's nuts are the size of hot air balloons and he's good enough to. Hope the fitness is there when he comes back.
  12. Proper car crash that. Grealish loss has killed us, but it's not good enough. The cowards like Hourihane/Taylor/El Ghazi whose main concern walking onto the pitch is not get hurt really doesn't help. Infuriating to watch them swan around, doing the total opposite to Jack. Constantly hiding away, forever avoiding responsibility. Trying a stupid flick that is a one in a million instead of holding on to the ball. We haven't built an attack for 15 minutes and you're scared of being the one who is seen to get dispossessed instead of having some balls and playing football. Jesus Christ, imagine our midfield when McGinn misses those two games through suspension. Every time Smith speaks I agree with everything he says. This week he spoke about showing the players City v Liverpool clips, and them all agreeing they need to work harder. I thought great. They did need to work harder, and now they've all agreed that'll happen. Where the hell was that? Are they not listening? Do they not want to? Is it fitness? The Bruce spell almost broke me. I was certainly far less interested in going to matches. Not paying to watch that. We'll never have resources like that again in this league. He wasted them and left behind a farcically unbalanced squad. It's not easy for Smith piecing a defence together but he's just got to do better than that performance wise. We can still make the playoffs. We can still go up. Only Leeds and Stoke have looked like they can live with us when we play well. I would suggest though that Deano figures out a way to get his system working without Jack Grealish because if we don't go up I don't think he'll be here at the start of next season. The thought of losing him and McGinn makes me feel ill.
  13. Can you take a bit of care please Yannick.
  14. Hutton is better than him in any position.
  15. Fuchs a good player I think. Not the profile I want to bring in particularly though.
  16. We've lost one in 11 and that was last minute to top of the league. We're very hard to beat because we score at will. That's without our best player by the way. All those things you list we can, and must, improve on. What a side we'll be when we do!
  17. Very very very amusing. Every time I've watched them all they do is lash it out to him. Monstrous loss. Just loaned Burke out to Celtic as well. A win tomorrow is all I need from football this week.
  18. The poor bloke. That's it for him here. Thought he had a chance of a bench spot coming up if he trained well bearing in mind lack of many impressing recently.
  19. We'd still be in the Premier League now if we had Remi Garde from day 1 of pre-season that year. We wouldn't have signed Richards, Lescott or Gestede. We'd still have signed Veretout, Amavi and Gueye.
  20. Him or McGinn could sit from play to play and the midfield would dominate.
