    Absolutely no chance he's more of a coward than Hourihane, who spends matches consciously figuring out where he can stand so he can't receive the ball. Westwood had his limitations but half of his problem was that he'd go and get the ball, turn, and see a load of people like Hourihane running away from him. If we signed a player in the Westwood mould our team would work really well now.

    If I enjoy what I'm watching and can see improvement throughout the squad I don't mind staying here for a few years. We'll steadily rise up the table anyway if that happens. Obviously I'd rather go up, but the excellent chances to go up with a cherry picked squad have been pissed up the wall by RDM and Bruce. Helpfully, they've also both left us a load of shite hanging around the squad using up wages and contributing nothing on the pitch.

    Indeed. I put that a few levels up from Taylor still. He has had some weirdly good cameos. Last season when he came on v Forest away, he was absolutely brilliant. Like a proper footballer.

    He's back and been knocking on the manager's door asking to play so said Dean in his press conference. They're taking it slow and building him back up with the medical team at the moment. He'll be up for it when he is back!

    Might've saved himself some time if he'd said just that. It will be banned soon I'd imagine for the reason I mentioned. Wonder if he'll be able to cope. Brilliant manager, jealous. No surprise we're such different propositions after you had him and we had Bruce going into the season.

    Was that just a load of willy waving from Bielsa? We know he scouts teams. Well done. How does his powerpoint answer sending people to watch people train? That should be banned. I'd imagine it will be soon. It gives big teams like Man Utd as an example an unfair advantage because you can't go and watch them train. You can't get near their training complex without getting through two security gates. A lot of odd celebration going on. I presume they're still getting punished. "I don't need to watch their training to know how they play" Then why are you sending people? He hasn't answered anything. Just boasted about how much info others provide to him.

    Smith mentioned it in a interview how the fans love him because he works hard. Can he not sit down with Hourihane, BB, Lansbury (I'll leave poor Whealo out because I think he knows what to do but can't move) and say this is how much running you must do. Stop hiding from the ball. Go looking for it. It's 100% an attitude thing. John is the only fit member of our midfield who isn't prone to swanning around.

    We should be throwing £8.5m at Aberdeen for both McKenna and Shinnie. CB and LB who can play and are used to each other already. Sorted.

    Never got round to season 2. Too many bad reviews from mates, but I think Vaughan and Farrell are usually OK. Worth a go? Season 1 was so good. Always thought it would be great to see an entire reprise but with Harrelson and McConaughey switching roles.

    Linked with a RB from Welsh league. Released by Cardiff couple of years ago. Never know these players can fall down the leagues and realise they need to work harder to make it. Could be a sneaky one for next season. Shame he isn't a LB for now.

    The expectation after Hugh made the role his own is unenviable.

    He's done fantastic work with that side. The work ethic he's instilled alone will probably get them up. Sad Leeds fans will be amusing. Again, Bruce be disappointed he didn't hang on a bit longer as that's Forest and Leeds he'd have had a sniff at. Both in better positions than Wednesday.
