We have to use Grealish in every way we can while he's still here. Smith needs to be showing Hourihane/McGinn/Ramsey/all of them! Look, this is what he does. Half of it isn't that complicated honestly. He just takes control of the ball and holds it, doesn't play it until he's happy. Shows for it to help out team mates, doesn't desert them. It's confidence more than technique. He's incredible at that even without the other half of his game, which is also excellent. We can't only be good when Grealish is playing, we need to adapt.

McGinn should be coming in for Hourihane, not Whelan.

For the £3m mentioned, absolutely.

He's played up there enough, just doesn't do much when the team isn't playing well. I'd bring McGinn back in for him next week. Blues away much more of a McGinn match than Hourihane match. Conor done fine work making it hard to drop him though.

Few mentioned it in the the match thread so I'll clarify. In this system, it is just him yes. Playing attacking football with this floppy haired hero in the middle and you'll do this to most teams in this league. -

The reason he's had so much of the ball for much of his career is because he isn't scared to try and get on it. Too many pansies in the side happy to be in the background in his eight year run here. If only he didn't wallop it into the stands so often.

I think Terry will be a huge part of the summer rebuild. If things are still good between him and Smith/ROK he'll be a key part of getting the squad mentality right going into the season.

I think... think we were actually 3rd as well, not even 4th. Hmm, that doesn't help. F'sake. May be mixing up seasons but great memories of boxing day that year though. Arsenal 2-0 up and we came back. After that I thought there was no way we'd let it slip. F'sake.
