  1. FFS Jack. I'm going to have to believe again soon.
  2. My stomach genuinely dropped then as I read that he's signed a new 4 year deal.
  3. No, come on. This isn't enough. I want more long-winded, convoluted guff from your troll posts.
  4. If we get to those last two games in with a shout...that means we'll be been in great form. We've all seen us firing under Smith and it's outrageously good. I think we'd take at least 4 points from those last two if we reach them and are in touch.
  5. Him and Steve he did it with great. Steve on here somewhere? Reveal yourself!!
  6. I would yes. However, looking at options available, McGinn at LB with same middle three as Derby is stronger than Taylor LB and McGinn in for Hourihane. McGinn has all the tools to be an incredible left back. He's so good it's a waste for us long-term. A handy left back is easier to find than a handy centre mid.
  7. @ChrisVillan used to do a good podcast. Any chance that'll be revived soon?
  8. Also, even hobbling round...if he'd have stayed on v West Brom we'd have won that.
  9. He would be brilliant at left back. For this match, bearing in mind performances at the weekend, that's the correct selection for me. He's probably too good in centre mid at the moment for us to be there long term, but I'd love to see it v Blues. I think that's unlikely tbh. Smith has stuck with Taylor through some frankly horrid performances week after week. That was with McGinn centre mid tho...
  10. He wanders round people so slowly they look like real mugs. It scares them into retreating and giving him space which he then thrives in. He also spreads confidence everywhere by making it look so bleeding easy. The squad need to believe in themselves to do it when he isn't leading the way.
  11. We're going to lose our next three.
  12. Enjoyment? I've enjoyed watching the goals.
  13. It's a mix. Some have short memories. Some really enjoyed the wins, which is great. But the football wasn't good to watch for me, and every single game we didn't win was really crap. The wins made the games passable but not enjoyable. Some have decided they don't like Smith and have become Sheff Wed fans hoping Bruce picks up points there. That's the weirdest one.
  14. Many have convinced themselves this didn't happen. It's weird.
  15. Blimey, you been to VP much?! Very nice cross I agree. But free man, no pressure on him and loads of space to hit into. Weird player Elmo. His position doesn't exist much in the game any more in the top few divisions. He's a right midfielder in a 4-4-2, and can have a bash at most other roles down the right side, with mixed results.
  16. Laursen was right footed. You could even argue he was actually head-footed.
  17. Two matches between the Brentford performance and that one yesterday. Absolutely incredible. Credit to him.
  18. Teams always stick a few on him before the yellow comes out. Watch Kieftenbeld welly him up in the air first 3 mins next week, just like he did at VP. We need to be more street wise and get in refs ear for every foul on him. It's every time.
  19. Seri looks great whenever I see him. He'll do well elsewhere.
  20. Agreed. He's played forward plenty of times and does nothing unless it's a nice easy game. People can't get past him chalking up numbers, it's like they aren't watching the games. I'm very much still here...
  21. I wonder if he's being played to persuade him to sign a new deal. He's a useful backup to have. Maybe they've got plans on selling Nyland already.
  22. Would have been great if would try and do it when Grealish isn't running the match next to him. Hope he keeps scoring and raising his value.
  23. He was fine because it was all front foot. Him and Adomah kept blocking each other off almost, getting in each others way.
