Without the international break I'd be really really confident about tomorrow. As such, I'm just confident. Was confident v Boro as well. We are running through teams. One game at a time, we can do this. We will be the ones in the playoffs everyone is terrified of.

He has Martin O'Neill to thank for the very many millions of pounds he's earned. Many other managers would have got rid the second they saw he couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Sorry Gareth, but that's dogdirt. You've shown your favouritism towards players sat on the bench of big teams. Doesn't matter who they're playing, or how often, it's the club they're at. Shame to hear that from one of my favourite Villa players ever. Norwich, Leeds, Sheff U and Villa would all comfortably beat that Czech Republic side. -
I think he's better than Steer. Bit annoying he's not been in the team since Jack has been back so he can get confidence along with everyone else. There's more of a future with him in the side. Don't really want to have to throw him in for playoffs if Steer has a bad last two matches or something.

I'd love Lolley, but he wouldn't be value for money at the moment. Just signed a new deal so they'll want minimum £15m. I still think they'd turn that down tbh.

Playing like this we'll trash Brom. Only top three wouldn't lose at least 2-0 to us playing like that today. The belief is something else. Forest in great form before we played them. Then they got a freebie 1-0 lead. And we thumped them.

When all at 100%, we're a better team with that midfield three than Hourihane. I think Hourihane better used against weaker sides. Manage Glenn's old legs until the end of the season.

You won't get a better keeper with his feet outside the top 6 of the PL in this country. Unfortunately started his villa career by being very very bad at everything else right up until just before he got injured when he improved. I think if we can sell him, Steer gets a new contract. If we can't, it'll be unfortunate as Jed won't get an offer.

Anyone can lose one match. If we make it to the final, we may win, may not. We won't embarrass ourselves by turning up without a plan this time though.

Absolute menace. When he's firing, he's comfortably a Premier League player. Smith would do wonders with him.

That Forest team stunk of O'Neill. No answer to our football. Fantastic win. Christ, Lolley is dangerous. Just as we were leading up to Xmas, we're the best team in the league.
