  1. Gets it. After the last minute winner he mentioned he was sitting back at CB. No one has told him that, he's just thought we've got about 2 mins of long balls to defend so I'm going back. Brilliant team player. Ended up breaking forward so he chased that as well. I remember his sprint back against Leeds as well. Full length of the pitch in the final seconds.
  2. 100% Looking at the attendance figures, you're not alone.
  3. Still needs to try to block crosses a bit more. He's improved from where he was but I'd still have been moving Hause across for him for the run-in. Up to him to keep a returning Hause out.
  4. Still looks terrified all the time. Loses the ball a lot, does the opposite to the likes of McGinn and Grealish and will take the easy option 99% of the time instead of the right one. Be great for him to get one early against Rotherham. One great 90 mins could really turn him round. Has no confidence.
  5. He was booted all over the place yesterday. Loads of "leaving the foot in" from casual balls in the middle of the pitch. I don't think he's 100% either, he's very hot and cold with his sprints. Hopefully Rotherham could be a good opportunity to get him off early.
  6. Interesting roll of the dice from Smith. Very much not his sort of player. He should have cushioned that chance back for Tammy and it was a great opportunity. He goes for some stupid scissor kick. We've got very little out wide if El Ghazi isn't firing. I don't know what's happened to Kodj. He's just as likely to bag the winner in the playoffs as he is to play 90 mins and not have a touch.
  7. Something going on then? Can't afford to cast another expensive player aside. Literally.
  8. Just a reminder to not feed trolls. What a treat mugging him like that.
  9. Hourihane hasn't come on because he does nothing if we're not on top. Useful option to pinch a goal if we're dominant.
  10. We could hand Leeds the defeat that costs them automatics, then get them straight away in the playoffs. Wowee.
  11. 9 points punishment? Keep Jack and McGinn. Sign Mings and Hause. We'll win the league with games to spare regardless.
  12. No one plays through us. We may lose, but it won't be cowardly Bruce-ball nothingness.
  13. Unless you're Jack Grealish and you come back from 3 months injured, get named skip, and lead the boys to 5 wins on the bounce. Although I suppose no one really played well when Jack was out! Agree with your point but I think on occasion it could cost us in the case of Grealish and McGinn. They simply must play if fit, they're a cut above anything else at the club.
  14. I'm never that confident usually but we're playing out of our skins. Much more worried about Sheff Wed than Bristol at home, purely as it's away. I think we'll thump Lee Johnson again, just like the 5-0.
  15. Not really. He was largely functional and ugly under Bruce. Just like everything we did under him. He's been brilliant in this attacking team recently. Great to see us play some football finally. It's something we can all enjoy.
  16. And pre-season/the summer? We'd be top and we'd be looking at record points, not worrying about 3rd place.
  17. He'll send them out to kick Grealish out the game. It's all he knows. We should have enough but this will have a real derby atmosphere. Need Tammy to start tucking away some of these easy chances.
  18. Where was Kalinic? I'd like him back in immediately. Forget the goal, first half with not much to do he was charging round all over the place. Looked panicky under corners and started to come for a ball that was never his out towards RB. Steer has had nothing to do for 5 games and it's a shame Kalinic couldn't have been part of the team building confidence.
  19. Great ball by McGinn for the first goal but it was Grealish that made it happen. He had several easy balls backwards, but doesn't take that option if there's a chance to score. Turned in an awkward spot and kept us on the front foot. None of that happened when he was out the side.
  20. Very poor in a team utterly dominating. Almost every move breaks down when he gets the ball. He doesn't think he's good enough, zero confidence. I wonder if he might be better away from home. It won't get easier than that first half for him. Given the ball so many times one-on-one with the full back. We need him to score in the first minute to get something to spark because he's brought nothing forward from that Sheff Utd goal.
  21. That first 20 mins. Good grief. Ferocious. Green really poor and Tammy doing his best to throw away goals and we still win. Should have been 5 goals up before 60 mins.
