  1. No, but he's wandered aimlessly round the pitch not even pretending to try on many many occasions. I'd imagine it's just saddos making up rumours.
  2. Is that when you reckon he did it? He's definitely carrying something. I think we can afford to not start him at Bolton if we beat Bristol.
  3. Think we should be in for Shinnie on a free. Derby likely apparently. Capable CM/LB.
  4. One fantastic save in the second half. Flinging left hand out. Can't remember what the score was, think we may have gone two down when he made it. Big voice needed from him whoever he has in front of him v Bristol. The leader in Mings is out so he has to help everyone through.
  5. Definitely taking Hutton ahead of Taylor, and don't think we'd look any worse with Elmo RW and Hutton RB than we currently do.
  6. Who can you compare him to from names of years gone by? There's no one even similar is there? Such a unique style for a central midfielder.
  7. I'm in and out with this idea. Even a below par Tammy last night brought the ball down well on his chest quite a few times. Shame we don't have the centre halves to go with a 352 at the moment. That really suits our personnel with not much a full back as well.
  8. Not the worst idea I've ever heard for the Bristol game.
  9. Does loads and loads and loads of off the ball running and closing down. No chance Kodjia starts ahead of him.
  10. Incredible. Still don't think he's fit either. I think he got fit after the injury but last few games he's been labouring at times. Sore shins from his ongoing issue and being hoofed every game I suspect.
  11. Murdered them second half. We should have had four. Hourihane two great chances and couple of good cutback opportunities that came to nothing. Two up away with ten men. Wow.
  12. He's so good I was annoyed with him he didn't score that shot from the corner of area second half. Obscenely good meatball.
  13. Loads better but still stopped running towards the end when everyone else was still killing themselves to close down. Far too good for the opposition, fooled them time and time again. Wouldn't start him ahead of Tammy at the weekend but would if Deano wants to go two up top.
  14. Yes, way way more entertaining. Did you enjoy the first half v Blackburn? That 45 mins was better to watch than many wins under Bruce.
  15. Weird feeling about tomorrow. Far too confident about Bristol at home. Unfairly so, they're where they are for a reason, but at home I can't see us not mauling them first half and doing enough in the second. 4 points from next two isn't enough, but it's not a disaster. Consoling myself with that as I've got a nasty feeling about Rotherham.
  16. He's bloody close, not sure he's quite there yet. Milner went to City at 24. He wouldn't look out of place if you went and dropped him in Man Utd's midfield tomorrow though. Very similar attitude and style of play as Jimmy, definitely a top PL player in waiting. McGinn has more of a burst of acceleration on him than Milner ever did as well. There is not a weakness in his game that he can target.
  17. How many other current youth players do you think we have that are as good as Grealish? 15? 20?
  18. Gets it. After the last minute winner he mentioned he was sitting back at CB. No one has told him that, he's just thought we've got about 2 mins of long balls to defend so I'm going back. Brilliant team player. Ended up breaking forward so he chased that as well. I remember his sprint back against Leeds as well. Full length of the pitch in the final seconds.
  19. 100% Looking at the attendance figures, you're not alone.
  20. Still needs to try to block crosses a bit more. He's improved from where he was but I'd still have been moving Hause across for him for the run-in. Up to him to keep a returning Hause out.
  21. Still looks terrified all the time. Loses the ball a lot, does the opposite to the likes of McGinn and Grealish and will take the easy option 99% of the time instead of the right one. Be great for him to get one early against Rotherham. One great 90 mins could really turn him round. Has no confidence.
  22. He was booted all over the place yesterday. Loads of "leaving the foot in" from casual balls in the middle of the pitch. I don't think he's 100% either, he's very hot and cold with his sprints. Hopefully Rotherham could be a good opportunity to get him off early.
