  1. People don't watch him ever because he's in the championship. All they know is he gets fouled a lot and that he's a silky player so they assume he goes down easily. Talking to my Tottenham fan mate other day and he was saying how "he's always out drinking". So that story from four years ago is still all he associates with him. Ability wise he had him on a par with Harry Winks so we had to stop speaking about football.
  2. Joe Lolley posts on page 1 wishing him the best. He's played against him twice this season. Weird.
  3. I'll take no injuries and a draw all day long. I think we'll go strong, win, and McGinn will get booked!
  4. Hope he bags 10 for them final day and they come and buy him.
  5. What's funny is...I bet he has a promotion bonus written into his deal as well.
  6. Don't think they're that good at all. They've won 15+ points after the 85th minute this season. Felt like refs just played until they scored half the time. If we'd have played them two or three games later than we did, we'd have beat them. 2-1 we lost when Dean was still drilling the players into passing the ball. Sheff U and Leeds have both impressed me much more.
  7. I think he's a great stopper but I'm not fully convinced by him on the ball. He's good, but plays with the swagger of someone a lot better and sometimes looks like he hasn't fully got hold of the ball. Just hope it doesn't cost us and he gets caught during this run in. We're a championship club, he's great for us. He fits the team as well, Smith wants his defenders to be playing out with it. I think he's good enough to play for us in the PL should we get up. Be interesting to see what sort of price he's available for. Don't think he's worth >£8m.
  8. It's tight but I think it's better. Be interesting to see if it has the legs on rewatch because I've seen Infinity war so many times as there's nothing else to watch on planes. Think I'll go again to this while it's in cinema
  9. Probably because he was a buffoon. Obviously, it would be kicking and screaming, but I'd take Lambert back before Sherwood or Bruce.
  10. He started to at the end, the team certainly did with him at the helm. To reiterate, much more than Bruce ever did.
  11. I think we'll go there to win. But I don't think Jack has been 100% for three or four games. McGinn hasn't been at his best for two games. They both need a rest and us winning matches needs them both. If it's fatigue and not any niggles I'd play them both, beat Leeds, and rest both v Norwich.
  12. McLeish got more abuse than Bruce ever did. So did Lambert. Neither ever had a go at the fans when they had much more reason. So happy that conceited spud has gone. Great everyone can now enjoy our football and results. Look at the crowds!
  13. What comments? The ones he invented because he was panicking the team wasn't winning? He attacked the fans before anything negative anything happened at Villa Park. Aside from his football obviously.

  15. I thought they only lost when teams sit back against them? @BigRed
  16. Fans remember when players don't try. Kodjia has had a lot of games when he's not even bothered pretending to try. Couple of bad misses but great he got the goal when starting up front. It should give him confidence.
  17. Absolutely wonderful this... Click into it to see the full image.
  18. Just thought of something @Villan4Life When you worked for St Mirren did you move to Scotland? Did you watch the SPL at all? Just wondering if you were aware of Super John McGinn? Can't believe how good he is for how unknown he was.
  19. I've not seen anything from him individually that suggests I'd be happy going into next season with him as no 1. Still a shame he wasn't in the side at the start of the season when Nyland was chucking everything in though.
