I hope you're seeing something I'm missing.
I think he's got everything physically, nothing mentally and enough technically for where we are atm.
I think he needs to score early in a game, then go on to have a brilliant match and it could turn him round and he'll realise how good he is. He's terrified constantly right now. Doesn't want to take his man on, first thought every time is easy ball backwards or inside.
It's funny to watch though. It's like propaganda that just doesn't work.
If this was any other team aside from maybe Utd, it'd be more towards 50/50 split over who neutrals want to win the title. As it is, it's about 85% of neutrals who really, passionately don't want Liverpool. Very funny.
Yep, he was fit for Saturday but Smith wanted to keep him fresh. Can't see him not starting.
Be interesting to see if Kodj has forced his way into the side; out on the right, he's so far ahead of Green and Adomah offensively it's mad.
Backline was up and down throughout. Hause and Ax would drop deep to give themselves alone some insurance playing people onside.
I want big Tyrone leading everyone throughout. Especially from those Brunt set-pieces.
Early on yes, lots of success down that side for them. Elmo would 100% have had all the difficulty Hutton did.
Wouldn't rule him out getting more appearances for us before leaving.
Second one.
I remember when he went to Florence and he was making loads of comments about being chewed up and spat out by Man City and the English game. No specifics, just key phrases his agent had given him.
Gutting we've been the club he's been allowed to fleece.
They won't be too far off this team...
Some observations...
I think that matches up well against a 433. Three centre backs to mind Tammy. Two up top against our back two.
It is a huge team. 5 or 6 over 6'2" to attack Brunt set-pieces. Need Mings and Tammy at their best defending set-pieces. That's been a constant source of uneasiness with Steer for me. Hope he can keep his bearings alright because Brunt's delivery is magnificent.
Matt Phillips is the only wildcard who is just getting back to fitness. He could play in the middle or wide for them, a dangerous player.
We're better though and I wouldn't take a 1-0 win if you offered it me right now. I back us to score at least two and I think keeping them out at set-pieces will be vital.
He gets appreciated when he tries. I think he needs to work harder and he can be our main striker, even if we go up.
Not hard to figure out but he's had such trouble.
I'd love it, that should be what happens.
But we shouldn't be sacrificing McGinn's effect in the hope that Kodj decides to turn up. He's shown too many times he'll down tools for no reason either from the off or half way through a match. If he doesn't fancy it he's useless.
I actually don't think it'd be the worst thing to play Tammy wide and Kodj through the middle. Tammy puts it in for 90 mins every game, but it is a bit late to start experimenting.
Sunday league women probably should yes. It may improve the game because it's grim to watch half the time. See the goals in the FA Cup final? They really struggle with keeping for some reason.
My pal and his wife had planned to do that for their first. Had however many classes across the last few months, they were loving it and looking forward to it all. Baby came 5 weeks early and she had her at home in the middle of the night. Little madam already calling the shots.
Probably our 5 best players all rested today. Lovely.
Will sting if we don't make it a bit as that Norwich team were so ordinary and they've just won the league.
