  1. Blimey, how do you pronounce that surname? Nee? Nig? Nug? Nog?
  2. We've got Guilbert for next season no matter the division. Two more we should be looking at are the two Luton full-backs Jack Stacey and James Justin. I'll be appalled if we spend £7m on Tavernier. I don't think we will.
  3. I believe it's Kodjia's choice to not put it in on the pitch. Nothing injury related. You can pinpoint it sometimes; he won't get a foul he probably deserves and the shoulders go, head down and he spends 10 mins or the rest of the match until he's taken off walking around. I've watched a 21 year old on loan from another club sprinting round next to him trying to gee him up to press with him. If Kodj had Tammy's attitude on the pitch he'd be three times the player. Hope the penny drops one day and he goes for 90 mins every week. In fact, I hope it drops this week and he fires us to the Premier League!
  4. We're a dream to play for if you're a striker or winger. You get so many opportunities to beat your man/make a chance/score a goal.
  5. Him and Alli have both been horrible.
  6. Wonder if we got a clause in there to set a price? That's a lot of money. He has been great though!
  7. Should this be in other football now?
  8. Can't recall much of the coverage aside from that clip of them all dancing in the warm-up. That was spread around a lot because it was funny and unique, and probably contributed more than it should. I would hope it was more a combination of pundits not knowing a huge amount outside of the squad's star players, and seeing them all dancing and basing their usual opening cliches around it. Wouldn't surprise me if fans loudly think the way you're referencing. It is still something a lot cannot get beyond which is a shame. Last few times I've seen Hogan, he hasn't worked hard. He's driven me up the wall because he's ambled around, not shown for the ball, and lost it when it does reach him.
  9. He was a shambles. Weren't arsenal hunting him for months!
  10. Bet he wriggled away from all five of them, keeping close control of his suitcase.
  11. Don't care about numbers, very bored of them. Messi is the best player to ever step onto a pitch.
  12. Dunno didn't see it tbh. Nice list of numbers. I know we lost and it was thankfully the end of our horrible run.
  13. No I imagine it's the 2-0 at home when we hardly got a kick.

Great to watch. People bit keen to anoint the greatest ever constantly these days. Can we not enjoy for a while first? Not as good as Barca 6-1 PSG anyway. It's been welcomed a bit more after City managed to win as well. Can guarantee if they were on for the double many people would be much quieter.
  15. I hope you're seeing something I'm missing. I think he's got everything physically, nothing mentally and enough technically for where we are atm. I think he needs to score early in a game, then go on to have a brilliant match and it could turn him round and he'll realise how good he is. He's terrified constantly right now. Doesn't want to take his man on, first thought every time is easy ball backwards or inside.
  16. For now...I've settled on my score prediction. I think we'll win 3-1. 3-0 up, concede once and end the game massively on the back foot.
  17. I'm so giddy. Definitely too excited as I see us a favourites. Hope the players are able to focus.

It's funny to watch though. It's like propaganda that just doesn't work. If this was any other team aside from maybe Utd, it'd be more towards 50/50 split over who neutrals want to win the title. As it is, it's about 85% of neutrals who really, passionately don't want Liverpool. Very funny.
  19. Yep, he was fit for Saturday but Smith wanted to keep him fresh. Can't see him not starting. Be interesting to see if Kodj has forced his way into the side; out on the right, he's so far ahead of Green and Adomah offensively it's mad.
  20. It was really hard to not get up with that squad last season. Brucie boy managed to choke us into the minimum we could be.
  21. The only tweak from this Dean might do is Green in for Adomah. Or if he feeling ballsy af Kodj in the starting XI as well.
  22. Backline was up and down throughout. Hause and Ax would drop deep to give themselves alone some insurance playing people onside. I want big Tyrone leading everyone throughout. Especially from those Brunt set-pieces.
  23. Early on yes, lots of success down that side for them. Elmo would 100% have had all the difficulty Hutton did. Wouldn't rule him out getting more appearances for us before leaving.
