If he starts, he'll be fine when we're on top. When we're defending/struggling to play out, I want him to show some balls and take responsibility with the ball. Jack had to come right back in the second leg v Albion because he was hiding. Early goal for us would help him I think, especially if he's involved. Hope he bags a hat-trick.

Unsustainable mess. We need to be in the PL for 2 of the next 5 years or we're in big trouble. Without reform, so many clubs are going to go bust in the next 20 years. It'll change the whole league. I can see L2/Conference getting merged at some point, or maybe L1 & L2. That's if Scotland don't get involved, which many will try to avoid as Celtic/Rangers will eventually become established PL sides and take spots away from English clubs.

Hourihane cannot play that position unless we are totally on the front foot, it's too much of a risk. He hides from the ball when we need him to start moves and puts pressure on everyone around him by shovelling the ball whichever direction is easiest. If he had some balls to go and fetch the pass from the defence then it'd be a different story but he hasn't done it under pressure once for us in that deep position. Whelan in.

Would rather Waghorn wasn't fit just because they seem to want him. He's a small square man. Pretty nippy, works hard and holds it up well for a short little stumper as he's very strong. Could cause Axel couple of issues, Mings should be alright you'd hope. We must must must start Whelan.

Back-to-back Premier League champion Fabian Delph isn't good enough to start for us atm. He'd be all over the place in that DM role and he isn't as good as McGinn or Grealish. That £15m can go on something else.

I'm also all aboard the Kodj to start train as we have no other options that do any damage out there. Wouldn't even bother to have both Green and Adomah on the bench, would have O'Hare, Hutton or Lansbury on there for one of them.
