The bender he's on is coming up to 28 hours. He's earned it. Not hugely up for the constant shit on the city, but he can do what he wants for the next week. It comes from being a proper fan that, I bet he's got loads of mates who both Villa and Blues. He's never had a chance to sing on the stands (unlike Mr. Lolley) so happy to see him enjoying it. -

He needs to go to a lower Champ side or L1. He has to play every single game to learn how to believe in himself. He'd get nowhere near Derby's team. Looks like someone who has won a competition at the moment. He's gone backwards from two years/18 months ago.

Would like this done quickly. Teams with good recruitment will be all over him for £5m. Southampton, Watford, and probably even Ajax would be sniffing around if their squad is about to be torn apart.

The hype Lolley will get will be like when we signed Angel or something in terms of excitement. Hopefully pressure won't be too bad as fans will be so desperate for him to succeed. Any that don't know his story will as soon as he signs. Effort will never be in question which will set him off to a great start.

So Smith said on the radio 8 contracts are up. Think that adds up with what's listed here.... Hutton, Jed, Whelan, Elphick, Bunn, Richards, Adomah...erm... De Laet? Thanks gents, to some more than others. Only one to maybe keep would be Elphick you'd think. We still only have one centre half, maybe see how summer goes? Don't remember De Laet ever being that bad but his whole career here has been weird, probably just send him on his way. Thinking about it, he's better than Taylor and can cover all across the back so could be worth keeping as backup.

We know already our away fans are easily some of the best in the country. The noise we made at both semis and Wembley was so great. We've sold the club big time to our new honours. Look at them here, it's like they are talking about their kids or something!

Agree with all of that but we're unlikely to bring back all the loans. Mings and El Ghazi hopefully we can get hold of; we're likely to get bummed on the Mings fee. Don't think we've got much of a chance of getting Tammy or Axel back. So keeping just two of the loans our team will be 6 (!) new players. RB, CB, LB, DM, RW, ST. Obviously we could start Taylor and Hourihane, bringing it down to four new players but neither is good enough without plenty of improvement.

Big props yes. I honestly wouldn't have felt that bad at conceding, but Mings going off had me terrified. Hause was perfect when he came on. At the time I was annoyed he wasn't ready right away. Mings was down for 3 or 4 mins and we still had to play two phases of play with 10 men. Either he or the coaching staff cocked up there, should have been ready to come on.
