Genuine question, why do you think you've not managed to get up to the playoffs since first year with so many good players knocking around your club last few seasons? Too many weak points in amongst the good players? Certainly a very well run club. I'd imagine you'll have a real run when you move to the new stadium. Maybe you'll have a summer of no sales and go for it big time the year after.

    He's already been in the PL. It was similar for me, very few could get the ball off him and he got booted a lot. He's a much better player this time round as well. I think we're going to play some great football next season. Grealish will be a success 100%, it's about if the team can support him aptly.

    Our coaching team really are top notch now and I'd back anyone with ability to do at least OK here. Don't think we'll have too many more bombs in the next few years. Benrahma, who we've just bid £8.75m for was out on loan from Nice, who aren't a superpower. As soon as Smith gets hold of them and gets them into his system, players with ability thrive. Shout to their new coach as well who continued good work with him. I like this fella. Floats inside to number 10 position a lot, be so great to finally have a threat on both wings.

    Don't think he was three mil? Freebie? A keeper with less ability than any I've seen play for Villa. Horrendous. Nyland ended up worse because he kept throwing the ball in but he's a better keeper than Bunny.

    Only was we'll loan is with an agreement fee on the end. Then again, needs must and staying up trumps losing out by developing someone else's player. I think we'll balance it and make the right call.

    More than happy for him to rest and not play internationals. He will be getting in the squad very soon though. Watching the many noisy Championship fans on twitter dwindle as he tears the PL a new one will be enjoyable.

    Their whole fan base is well funny. My neutral position is probably hoping they do well, hope that annoys them. They'll ruin it this season I imagine, but I honestly care little for them. So desperate for our attention, they're hilarious on twitter. Leap into any tweet about Villa.
