Too much for purely him as a player. Smith has to decide if he brings other things that are worth having. Also Tyrone can speed this up if he really wants to by handing in a transfer request. If they're holding on for that much he shouldn't assume we don't have other targets.

Video has surfaced online of a little scrote nobody player from Cov filming himself on a lads holiday. Making all mannerisms of being on drugs, drinking, giving it biggun. Been given a bit of stick for saying he's gonna leave Cov when he's very much a reserve. Anyhoo Bayliss appears in the background not doing much, just sat down and the scrote says "He's gonna be on about 10 bags in 3 days". Dunno if that's money per week in a move to a new club, or bags of something else. edit... WARNING: This video is awful.

Any chance we could land Theo Hernandez for LB from Real with a sneaky €10m bid? They've just signed one of the six million footballing Mendy's it's another LB. Theyve got Marcelo and another chap I can't remember beginning with R who all play LB. They've got so many players to get rid of. Maybe €30m for Theo and Odengaard for RW. Probably unrealistic.

When people ask me who he plays like...the reason it's so hard is because the players he's similar to are the world's elite. David Silva and Modric are two he always reminds me of in possession. Madness. Wijnaldum a lot recently as well with his play around opposition areas, pops up in all sorts of dangerous spots. He's not the same as any of them though, he's got his own slightly deep yet attacking roving role that draws everyone in toward him. Always feels a bit silly to say those names, but that's the level he can achieve for me. Be so pleased for him, and Villa overall, if he can dominate for us next year. -
Been told he's off, was told months ago though. Possible Cech has taken the job be was pencilled in for. Huge role to play here getting new signings into the right mindset of the squad. Foreign ones especially who have never heard of Dean Smith. You can bet they'll have heard of John Terry and will respect what he's earned in the game.

Agreed. Hopefully passing comment, positive or negative, on a forum meant for discussion won't be labelled as "putting pressure on him" or "writing him off". Coming from Europe instead of straight from South America bodes well.

Not sure if joshing? Dig at our Brentford friends. Dean very much part of the team that signs players. I'd imagine he's near the end of the process as he's busy coaching, doesn't have time to be out scouting mid-season. If he really didn't fancy a player for X, Y, Z reasons and Suso and the scouts couldn't convince him he'd be worth getting in, that player ain't getting signed. No way.

Smith's miracle performance of picking us up off the floor will shine more favourable light on Bruce that he doesn't deserve. His media chums will make sure of that. His name will come up as a potential replacement for Smith if we're struggling, mark my words. There's a weird revision that goes on with Bruce where he's given underserved praise despite failing to get promotion, making us disgusting to watch and having a go at fans that backed him. So strange.

Plus 4 years living and playing in Europe. Thought it was only 3 years before you were OK to move to England. Surely PL have worked themselves into a corner by giving Gabriel Jesus one. He was €31m I believe.
