Welbz is a funny one. Looks like he can't play football half the time. He can play wide right as well. Wouldn't be against it on a free if he signs a pay as you play.

He's been brilliant every time I've seen him. I'll be so excited if we sign him. Leeds fan reaction tells you everything you need to know, it mirrors the Hibs/McGinn reaction. Not my money, but it is a lot of money. Only area I wonder about with him is challenging for long balls defensively. Can be very useful for centre halves if DM can pitch in and our central midfield is already diminutive.

I think the fee is a big one yep. We wouldn't entertain paying possibly £17m and losing them for nothing after three seasons. Must be 4 years, maybe more.

Reason I don't think this will creep up out of nowhere is his relationship with Bournemouth must be pretty stretched. As soon as it's "done", journalists with the inside track on them will be made aware and details will be out pretty quickly. Wouldn't be surprised at a parting shot or two.

Remember that incredible cameo away at Forest I think it was. Came on with about 10 mins left and just looked phenomenal. Controlled whole game and we saw it out either a tight win or a draw we were previously clinging onto. That's very much been the exception in his level of performance.

I mean, the story isn't true is it. But let's play anyway. Wouldn't Man Utd be buying that player? As much of a carcrash they are, surely they've got a wider network of scouts than our three blokes. £50m + Tuanzebe and I'll come to the party. I actually think McGinn could take some time to get going in the PL, but I'm certain he will. He'll give away a lot of fouls early on.

Enjoyed first series. Lead girl farcically pretty. Second is a mess.

Disagree. Very bad player who has got worse every season we've had him. Smith having some sort of plan of attack helped him but along with Green he was routinely our worst player. Can't believe he kept his place in the team ahead of Hause. Definitely not average PL level, he's an average to poor Championship player. I'd have Targett, Hause, Mings, McGinn all ahead of him in the PL as a left back.

Craig Dawson for £5.5m is a bargain. Better player than fully fit Chester.

Bournemouth are honestly an embarrassment the prices they pay. Being better than them ain't anything to shout about. Solanke £21m Lerma £30m Jordon Ibe £20m Brad Smith £6m Diego Rico £15m Max Gradel £10m Mepham £15m to never play him Benik Afobe £14m to never play him They're lucky Howe is such a good coach and they have a core of players they've had for years that do well for them consistently.

Jim White knows nothing. Wouldn't be surprised if that's a favour being asked from our side. Muddy the waters to lower the fee in the public eye. Not sure on Sam Wallace, but we all know how well connected John Percy is with Midlands football.

I disagree with every syllable of this now I've removed the injury bit. It's a crazy price. Does show we're absolutely loaded though, which is nice.

Can't imagine Villa are thrilled about that price getting out. I would not sell Mings for less than £25m if I was Bournemouth chairman. Keep him as bench player if we don't pay up.
