That's where my undefeated comes in, though it isn't really!
But we weren't bothered by Norwich. It almost all reserves playing half pace.
And WBA we lost 1-0 but won the tie on pens on the same night.
I've forgotten what it feels like to lose. Hopefully the players have as well.
I was thinking about this the other day.
But not so much winning, more of an undefeated run....if you stretch it and say games we were bothered about....which we didn't then go through on pens anyway.
West Brom at home in the league is the last match we were bothered in that we came away with nothing. When was that, late Feb?
All the clips I've seen of Luiz he doesn't look like a holding midfielder. Wouldn't stun me if he's been brought in for the Jack/John role.
Phillips be great DM for us.
I've dipped in and out of this whole conversation.
But to describe something a "risk" isn't explaining the situation or their own opinion enough. It's just throwing out a loose term and not backing it up.
As has been said. Buying no one is a risk. Buying some is a risk. Leaving your house with all this rain about is a risk, you're far more likely to stay dry if you stay at home.
So it comes down to you thinking in that in that scenario we would have enough quality cover with last season's starters I suppose.
I disagree sir. Disagree hugely.
Signing 12 players is a risk. Signing no one like Norwich is a risk. Signing a couple of players and trusting the promotion team that got you up like Sheff U is a risk.
The biggest risk for us would have been to rely on those who last season were clearly not good enough even for the Championship top half.
We had a solid mix of gold and guff in our side. The guff has all gone (apart from Neil Taylor). We may have replaced it with more guff, foreign guff. But at least it's not stale old guff we knew wasn't good enough.
We've tried.
Not sure he's good enough for them in his current state, was hoping O'Hare would head there. Andre has to play, he can't go anywhere and sit on the bench.
Right. If he's going to start at Tottenham, and this goes for Marvelous as well, you would think he has to be around to play some part in Leipzig.
Is this still on and all OK? WP the only issue that could stop it, but is he 100% to get one?
Hourihane starts first match if neither is in the squad in Germany. I'd throw them in by the way! I just don't think Smith would.
Only risk with this is that he's not going to be behind a Burnley defence now. He won't have 8 Orcs sat right in front of him for most of the game, it'll be a high line defence and he'll be expected to play a lot with the ball.
If he does basics very well though, then this is a good move. He's much better than Steer. Don't know what's gone on with Kalinic.
