I suspect a fitness/illness thing.
It's only the full backs starting that is wrong, but Lansbury ahead of Marvelous and no Guilbert on bench is suspicious.
I honestly think he only does that when the team is struggling to get going. He doesn't hide when holding possession is difficult and the game is drifting away. He goes wherever he needs to to fetch the ball, and force the team to play.
West Brom away in the playoffs he was magnificent when many around him wanted nothing to do with the ball.
Due the nature of the game I think he'll be dropping deep at some point tomorrow.
It's been February the last time I came away from a matchday feeling like we'd lost.
Throw in the outrageous summer and it's been 6 months solid of Villa positivity. Doubt that will ever happen again.
Good luck Deano. Stick to your guns despite the drubbings we're going to pickup.
Sorry, in the first team, this has not been the case. He's spooned multiple chances that were really good opportunities to score.
Big fan of Davis regardless. Ideally needs one to fly in off his shin to kick start him in senior football, looks to me likes he thinks he's going to miss before he's taken a shot.
Hold up play for such a young player very good.
So can we loan him out to lower leagues still? Would be incredibly beneficial to get him playing.
Lad has ability but with his size, he's just got to up his game to make it at a higher level. It's possible, wee Barry has had a lovely career for himself.
Meh, Coutinho and Dybala. They can cut inside to their hearts' content and say hello to John McGinn's arse.
Trezeguet may well have bulldozed his way into the side you know, especially with the El Ghazi knock. Their weak spot is Walker-Peters at RB. Good young player but nothing more at the moment, we can get some results down his side.
Work-rate defensively and composure in possession under pressure from Grealish and McGinn essential for our success this season. Can't think of two men I'd trust more to give it **** good go.
Marvelous or even Doug as DM please. We lose with Hourihane.
Don't think I've ever been this excited for a season.
No chance Ben Yedder bid is real. We wouldn't spend £30m+ on guy about the turn 29. It's just too much.
That sort of transfer is for January when we're 6th
