Weird that Sisto story has appeared out of nowhere? Maybe Celta Vigo trying to generate a bit of buzz with an eye on moving him on. How's about Yari Verschaeren as another wing option. Should be able to get him for less than £15m, will fit into the young squad. It'll have to happen before the Euros as it looks like he's sneaking into the Belgium squad. Two footed, good crosser and will only improve from here.

Grealish is our best player. He's our best winger and it's touch and go whether he's our best out and out CM alongside McGinn, he probably is. Grealish going back into CM is fine, it's a step up from any other player we can play next to McGinn. Benrahma, El Ghazi and Trez can all play both sides.

I liked this post before getting to the second line...then had to figure out how to withdraw it! This guy is Championship player in title only. I'm certain he'll be straight into the team and be a success. Hope we buy him. If we spend £10-20m elsewhere on a winger he'll have to be a real wonder. If we've only got one buy, I think a striker is more important, but being greedy give me two please Jesus.

Still real like all the white training tops. Emailed them in August asking will they back in stock. They said unlikely. Kappa have cocked up here, we're a good club to get hold of. Back to Luke for next season is my vote.

We're a dream to play for as a striker. You don't need to be a great goalscorer to have an incredible output for this team. We get so many players and balls into the box. I think if we had a fairly average striker like Chris Wood or Troy Deeney who could just look after the ball we'd be lethal. The hope is that Wes can grow into a better player than both I suppose.

I agree we should be going hell for leather v Brighton at home. We'll lose a few along the way but we'll turn draws into wins more often than not. I've cried like a baby for some time now that I think we need a different system for certain games. Games like City away on Saturday. I hope we don't go with the same gung-ho style as a Brighton at home or we will get seriously trounced. An 8-0 loss will not help confidence and the team needs confidence to play they way they do.

Yes. The quarters and semis always sneak up on you with this. We do need to keep a very careful eye on the key men in the squad though. Grealish, McGinn, Targett, Fred G, Mings, Marvelous. Doubt they can all play 90 mins of three draining games like City, Wolves, Liverpool in seven days.

With the stadium as it is now, 42k seats...we have never ever sold out of season tickets, had 8k on the waiting list and sold out our first 10 home games. The football, the excitement, the ambition is all so great. I'm sorry you miss the Newcastle manager, don't worry you'll get to see him soon when they come and park the bus hoping to nick a goal and a 1-0 win.

Poppycock sir. Rubbish product? We'll see how things progress, but even if we go down I'm fairly sure I'll have enjoyed the season more than any of the last 8 or 9 years before Smith joined. The record breaking attendances and waiting lists seem to indicate it it's not just me who is also enjoying the football. Thank God Steve Bruce is at Newcastle and away from choking the life out of this club.

They dominate most games but Bielsa for some reason is refusing to start Nkethia on loan from Arsenal. Keep picking Bamford who is crap.

Think we've moved on from dishing out "silly" contracts. They're all PL wages though yes which would make moves like that tricky. As much as I like him, Jota could head back and we could cover 40% of his wage if the deal was the happen.

I'm not that bothered as he could pickup an injury that might relegate us. He really wants it though and it's been deserved for 6 months now bearing in mind the muck that's been ahead of him. I've said to a few people if we finish 13th or higher I think he'll be starting for England at the Euros. That was meant to indicate that we were comfortably away from relegation but maybe I should tweak that to top half. Could be finishing 13th and only 4/5 points above the drop. -
The shot on the turn second half was a bit of a scuff from rough memory? Lovely turn though, that's exactly what he hasn't done enough of for me. Scored 20% and scuffed 80%. That's not far off 90% as I said His general technique is poor is what I'm saying. McGinn is out of his league when it comes to shooting. I'd actually drop him for City funnily enough. When he's had his off days so far, he doesn't win a single ball or hold anything up. Keinan is better at that right now I think.

KDB being back is a shame. I would really really like to change formation. Doug and Marvelous in front of defence. We can attack Liverpool the week after. Only way we're taking points v City is to sit back and hit on the break. We'll get a real shoeing if we try and go at City.

He's a real menace yes. Unfortunately, because of the timing and price of both signings and the fact we (and our manager) have got a bit of history with Maupay, I think they'll get compared a lot. Maupay looked the much better player on Saturday's showing. Yes I know Wes has more goals this season thanks.

Big Dion inexplicably just made it up on football focus! OR Dion thinks he's much taller than he is because of all the headers he'd win and has matched Grealish up. Jacko is somewhere between 5' 10" and 6'. -
It's amazing. My favourite year as a fan. If we can stay up, I think we'll cement ourselves in the coming years. Jack and John will stay and the owners have shown they're happy to shell out. I reckon we'd be strengthening the squad with another 4 or 5 good players next summer.

If he turns into anything like Benteke I'll eat my hat. He was one of the best strikers in the world at us, that's why Liverpool paid £30m for him before the market went insane. Wes has many areas where he's raw.

Has set a stupidly high level for himself and didn't get there yesterday. Still won a few entertaining balls. You know the ones. When they don't see him coming. Or they do, and are sure they've got the ball under control and he monsters them off it before they know what day it is.
