Why do people keep saying this? And always in relation to our worst signings? Prices at the top end have gone mad, and yes, they've gone up across the board. Still good players available for less than £22m.

Bearing in mind his performances, the amount of support he got at games was unreal! Fans were desperate for him to play well and score, and he tried his best to. He never got any stick despite failing to control the ball most of the time.

Utd and Arsenal are both terrible. Chelsea and Spurs good sides who are liable to slip-ups.

Potential to eventually be worth £22m? Not for me. We've been had, and having a guy not ready for PL football as our only striker signing this summer has cost us badly.

Did you watch Wes this season? Do you think he looked like an adequate footballer?

Brighton play much more football than Burnley and their forwards of Trossard, Maupay, Connolley, Jahanbacantspellhisname, Alzate will all run rings round him as he backs off and points at other players to come and tackle them. I'd take a point as well. Minimum of 5 from the next 3.

Exactly this happened with Lansbury last season. It finally came to the time we needed them due to injuries and they're both out ffs.

Doubt he'll be leaving this month. They're going to be play-offs at worst. Funnily enough I could see him leaving in the summer whether they're up or not. Once they've got £150m of PL money sorted it opens up another world of players to them. They'll probably replace him for a quarter of the money they sell him for.

Great positivity, hope all these things are being drilled into the players! It's possible to stay up, but lose these next three confidence will be shot and we're gone. Some signings have just been straight up poor though, and if we do get relegated we've missed a history altering chance with recruitment that isn't nearly good enough and it's gutting. That's what's really stinging me watching us struggle. Go down we lose once in a lifetime talent in Grealish. I'm not looking forward to watching Wes, Targett, Nakamba and Trez struggle in the Championship. If we pull off a miracle and stay up we need to replace all them as well as others, that highlights how poor the summer was exciting as it was.

Shows where we are that I've just seen Borini left Milan on loan and thought he would have been decent for us. Improve us? Yes. Actually be decent? Debatable.

We surely won't be signing NZonzi as well as Drink? Would have been a useful player before we'd got him in as well. Bit quiet isn't it.

We were never going to get a keeper as good as Heaton. Losing him is disastrous. If he stops the ball it's a step up from Nyland.

Hope he's sensible with the game at Anfield. If we're going down and on the end of a predictable spanking, don't want him going all Houllier. Speaks well on the website, seems a determined chap.
