  1. He's going to be so fired up when he comes back, I can't wait.
  2. He keeps working hard, he'll get all the support he wants. Annoying watching him overhit stuff and trip over the ball all the time though.
  3. He's been their best player last few games I've seen. Not watched tonight really. He ain't great though, so that in itself is awful for them. There's never any plan when you watch. No structure. End of April our game v them at home. Rash won't be back for that.
  4. He's got football schizophrenia.
  5. They are wank Utd. So easy to play against. Bloody Man Utd and Arsenal, we forced points on them. They didn't want them and we insisted on being polite and handing them over.
  6. Nah, younger chap this one. Good central midfielder with looooads of potential, he's handy now but could get better at pretty much everything. There's a factory just south of Paris that works 24/7 producing crate after crate of players named some combination of Youssouf, Moussa, Traore, Dembele, Bertrand, Sissoko and any variation you want of Mamadou. Fofana is a new model they are working on recently.
  7. Can you believe it @JAMAICAN-VILLAN Watford now linked with Fofana. Spies round here
  8. Swear I read last week he went to Celtic?
  9. I don't think it's ridiculous at all, I think it's certainly feasible if not probable. Ideally for us, we stay up and sign some serious players in the summer who are approaching Jack's level. However next season for us, 8th would be an incredible season. Jack isn't the level of player where finishing 8th should be a goal, but that's where we are as a club. The boy should be chasing titles and major honours already with the level he is, Christ knows what he'd look like in a better side. I think that's a lot of the England excitement for most.
  10. Honestly, I can see him signing a new contract if we stay up. I think we'll offer him top top money and a new 4 year deal and he'll sign it, but that will be the last contract he signs for us. Really don't want him to go to Utd at their lowest point in about 35 years.
  11. Hannes Wolf available on loan from Leipzig. Could play that RW/10 role well. 20 year old Austrian keen to impress heading into the Euros. If we can put an agreed fee in, could be a good deal.
  12. He can definitely force his way into the side for England, which will be exciting for him. The last squad's CBs were Mings, Maguire, Stones and Tomori! Joe Gomez will come in for Tomori because he's out of the Chelsea team now, and I think he'll start if he's fit, Southgate loves him. It's touch and go right now who to go with between the other three as much as they both have the "big team" bias. Would I swap Stones or Maguire for Mings for Villa today? Feck off would I.
  13. He's been better and should have be tried up there months ago.
  14. I don't believe we gave out any contract shorter than 4 years apart from Heaton, so if that's the rules happy days. Surely FFP can't be sidestepped that easily? If that is the case why we didn't buy another striker in the Summer? What reason could we possibly have for going to the season with an untested Wes, an untested Davis, and an unfit Kodjia who Smith never seemed to fancy as a player?
  15. If it's true, that would takes us to something around £139m spent then. We can't just keep spending can we? I don't care if Purslow says it works, go for it. Go get Benrahma for £25m and Youssouf Fofana/Teun Koopmeiners for £20m, we'll stay up no probs.
  16. Now I can see they've gone down well, I'll look to share them more often.
  17. We didn't buy either did we? I think we have the actual cash yes. But we can't spend it due to FFP I believe. If we could, I don't know why we didn't sign the two players you've mentioned in the Summer. Or sign Bowen and a striker January 1st.
  18. Bowen no. He'll cost £15m. We ain't got that right now. Also Callejon, no. He's on £100k a week at Napoli. Maybe on loan but he's playing a decent amount for them, not like he's not getting any games. He'd be an insanely good signing.
  19. For even more fun, here's a differently modelled xG table Couldn't tell you what the differences in their xG modelling are. Apart from Liverpool not being top, that looks a lot more like a decent ranking of the teams I've seen this season in terms of performance.
  20. What's that? You're interested in seeing an xG table and laughing at Leeds not being runaway leaders? No probs. Also, Bristol City very much the Newcastle of the second tier.
