  1. Lazy? Why? He's soft IMO. Bit unsure of himself and very much will shrink when it gets hard. Loads of ability on the ball though, lovely technique. Surprised the few corners and FKs he's had have been poor Smith has spoken about having to get him in the gym and I think overall he's disappointed with how it's gone so far for Targett. I think he was hoping to be able to rely for 7/10 performances on him more. As with most players at Aston Villa he should look to Jack Grealish as inspiration. The guy has made himself so much better with his commitment to fitness and conditioning away from the training pitch. It can be done.
  2. Have I missed confirmation of his work permit?
  3. Bloody Rennes for NZon. That is a blow but at least he isn't going to West Ham.
  4. Never seen anyone anywhere attack the ball like Laursen. Every corner felt like a great chance to score with him in the team. Plus delivery from Barry and Young was usually very good.
  5. Really surprised that Augustin has gone Leeds. Would have been very useful here. The questions about his attitude go back years to PSG though, maybe we decided wasn't right for us. Getting out of the spotlight and into a squad that works really hard around him should be good for him. That's all Leeds have needed for a long time now anyway, a forward.

    Liverpool

Their final 10. No doubt they'll need to beat us 6 from the end to secure the title and put 7 past us before dropping points in the following weeks to Brighton and Burnley playing their reserves. 7. Sunday Supplement really put boot into them today. They've still got a temporary training ground apparently. And they don't own their stadium. And they've got porn barons running the show. Would really help us out if they could shit themselves over the next few months and get stuck to the bottom of the table.
  8. What a signing man. Red Bull are another level for their recruitment.
  9. Very jealous of Lozaro that's a great signing. Really good utility wide player. Very much Elmo esq with the areas he can cover. Bentaleb is good as well. Useful player to get to try and inject some quality into their stodgy play. Not sure of long term prospects in a team that just defends, they'll have to evolve eventually or he'll lose interest.

    Wolves

This may be unfair... Although Traore has improved, I'm not sure it's by that big a margin. He could always do the mental take on 5 at once stuff. The crosses he's producing are fairly standard a lot of the time, they're just coming after he's been put in a good position to roast some poor clearing in the woods who's been isolated and has no chance to stop him. (The screaming goals are new though, and welcome) Wolves just use him brilliantly. Near on perfectly in fact. The formation works so well. Jimenez plus the whole midfield and defence are all such intelligent players, drilled into fantastic system. Feels like over half of all their plays are built to release him into space. They flock to him as well when he's deep to give him an out ball, because you know he'd be up for trying to carry it past 10 players up to the other box. Loads and loads of credit to Nuno for managing to harness him to this extent. Having so many smart and talented players around him has helped as well. And credit to Traore for this new consistency, one of the the most exciting players in the world the watch.
  11. They're decent satire. Serious posts saying it's good when managers don't talk to injured players make me wonder.
  12. That stuff about not speaking to injured players is the biggest load of bunkum I've read in at least 30 minutes.
  13. We've played 24 out of 38 games with no PL striker. It'll be a miracle in my eyes sir.
  14. It'll be a miracle if we stay up. And we pretty much got one with that flick off an upside down rotating Mings. Hopefully a change in fortunes!
  15. There's more chance of me signing a contract with Hull than Jarrod Bowen. If he ain't off soon, he's off in the next 18 months for sure.
  16. I think he's been terrible overall, and looked like he can't control the ball for much of his time on the pitch as hard as he worked. The decision to have him as our only striker alongside fringe options of Kodj and Davis is going to catch up and relegate us.
  17. What he does for the team...there's very few in the world who could do it better. You're talking literally the best players going IMO. Messi, Sterling, De Bruyne, Mane, that sort of silly level. Take these brilliant players, just in the PL. Maddison, Son, Zaha, Salah, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez, Wijnaldum, Pogba. On current form, would any of them do better for us than Jack right now? Contribute everything he does offensively and continue to run themselves into the ground defending when surrounded by a team nowhere near as good? How do I know they wouldn't crumble under pressure when our team has one of their funny spells when they all forget how to play football? I wouldn't swap him for anyone honestly, I enjoy watching him too much. Plus, if you could magically switch Grealish for one of the those top players, it would take time for them to adjust to their new teammates much worse than wherever they've come from.
  18. Loads of them were never fouls.

    Louie Barry

I don't. They've made a conscious effort here to show this is an academy signing. Hope lad has a bright future.
  20. Can you start the game by sacking people like Director's of football if you want? I'm sure you used to be able to?
  21. They've got too many good players throughout the side to go down surely. What I do think though, is plenty of those good players don't give a flying **** about West Ham. Pleased we're putting such emphasis on good characters, even if some aren't good enough.
  22. FFS, no. I couldn't take that. No way I'd be watching.
