I've just done this and it's mad. I think we're going down. Yet being my usual negative self, I've somehow got us finishing 12th. The whole bottom half if very tight. Got Newcastle, Bournemouth, Norwich going down. Other headlines are Liverpool finish on 109 points. City, Leicester, Wolves top 4.

Munas Dabbur would be gettable I reckon. Went to Sevilla last January, has hardly played. Loan be an option, could agree a fee of under £15m with it. Good all round forward, could play wide if needed.

Seems a nice dude. Entertaining away from the pitch, really horrible viewing on it. He's definitely got worse and he didn't start that well.

Giroud has a chance to start for France at the Euros having led the line winning the world cup. It'll be an incredible signing but it's so unlikely. I think he would easily wait until the end of the window anyway unfortunately. He'd go anywhere he'll play, but the closer to the top of the division the better. Lyon have just lost Depay and Dembele is linked with various teams, if I was him I'd be looking somewhere like that.

Excellent. Smack on. Said at the time we'd feel the hangover of Bruce for years and here we are. He returned us to exactly where he joined us, the bottom half of the championship playing terribly. Except he'd spent even more money and had built very little for the future, leaving himself and his successors an unbalanced squad. A monkey could have done what Bruce did, and it probably would have been better to watch. Wilder joined Blades the same summer RDM came to us, wonder where we'd be in we got him in. We'd still have a scary owner though I suppose because I imagine we'd have been promoted inside two seasons.

I agree, but the Suso signings will cost us IMO. Not good enough. All Dean's targets are players.

Brighton wouldn't be giving direct rivals for relegation anyone who might score for them. Should have got him when we very first got relegated. Would have been perfect old head for us. Went on loan to Brighton and took them up, still there now, should be us.

I swear he didn't used to be this slow? Torturous stuff watch him chase people. He's always been an avoider of any responsibility and physicality. Speak to Barnsley fans about him and honestly it's like a different player. They talk about him getting the ball off the defence and driving forward, it's absolutely unrecognisable.

You think Mee would have bounced off him if he was a bit fresher do you? Smith has no part to blame in the injury. He should have dropped him for his performances though.

Anything that means he has to do more attacking and less defending is a bonus. He'll have some great games there.

Ep 2 of Dracula loads better than the first. Will be tuning in to see where it's going, hope I don't have to roll my eyes too much. For these writers, some of the lines have been horribly predictable and lazy.

I'll be so sad when he leaves. Football is so boring now. Huge split between teams at the top and everyone else. Loads of teams will be going bust in the next decade. The whole league will be changing. He reminds you why you watch. Good chance I'll slip away from football in general when he goes. -
Loved it reminiscent of Steer catching that one at the end of the playoff final. People around me cheering like we'd scored. It was over then.

Signed in August. Great signing for £1m or something stupid like that. When they eventually get promotion, they'll be a comfortable PL side for years. At least until other clubs sort out their recruitment and match up with Brentford's model of having more than a few people saying "he looks good".

I think it'll be a miracle if we stay up. Most of the signings have just not been good enough. Losing Heaton is too much, genuine match winner. Happy New Year everyone.

Is something weird going on in China? I read the contracts won't be renewed once they're up? I think Solomon Rondon would be a really useful player for us if we could get him for 6 months. Holds the ball, good work rate, can finish. Obviously that was all before he went over there so you never know. Don't be fooled by him having to play as a centre half up front for West Brom and Newcastle in most of his time in England though, solid goalscorer before he got Pulised. Would all depend on the money involved.

Such a shame. He could very well be coming back to a team without Jack Grealish and without Dean Smith who both helped him massively. I sincerely hope he's coming back to a Premier League team.

At least we've started targeting the right players. The summer was the time annoyingly, it'll be harder to attract players from top divisions. We're an unattractive proposition right now. These players don't want to be playing in the championship in 8 months time.
