  1. Beat Alan Brazil and Ipswich to the title in 1981 He can't stand it still.
  2. I wouldn't ever go on holiday to Dubai personally, but these millionaires have to get away from the general public if they want a break. There's no way they can go out anywhere here without getting pestered. They can't (and don't generally) complain, it's the world we live in. If you want to earn the dough of a PL footballer, sorry but you're going to get bothered when you head out. Maybe it's the high number of exclusive bars/clubs and the relatively low number of people that attracts them to Dubai? So many more attractive destinations out there.

For £25m in January yes. Summer did us. We spent spent badly in some areas and overspent in others.
  4. I can't see much in his way Fantastic start. Keep working hard Rambo. A squad place awaits next season.
  5. Another convincing performance. I'm sure he'll use this preposterous amount of luck to revamp their style and they'll look a different outfit next year. Their "tactic" definitely won't be...sit back and defend for your lives, see what happens going forward.
  6. We're not a good team. We don't need him to come in and be pretty and intricate. We need him to do what we can't right now, run round and smash stuff. Stop other bad teams from looking better than us because we're slow and can't close then down. Make room for Samatta and Grealish by causing some panic. He can definitely do that.
  7. I like when Kesler goes off on one of his overlaps. Looks the fastest kid in the world.
  8. Has to be the team going forward. My only query would be Engels and Mings the other way round. I'd feel more comfortable with Mings in the middle but we could have a look at this.
  9. A square sausage and a tennants and he'll be set for Spurs in two weeks.
  10. I'd highly recommend a trip to see them. They get loads more live out of middling album tracks from years gone by and the new stuff crowds don't know as well which is always a good sign. Their music was always a level above the million "indie" bands popping up around 10 years ago, now they've got some presence to go with it.
  11. Honestly I love it, too funny. Rock bottom Norwich thumped them again at the weekend, still got a point. If we pull off a miracle and stay up I'll look back with such joy at their season, total comedy. It's a farce how many points they've got. Of course you could Steve
  12. We keep having games like this we then lose comfortably
  13. An bargain for £3m. Shouldn't be in the team right now though, he's been shaky for a few weeks. If teams use him as well as Bournemouth did we'll really struggle to get anything going out from the back.
  14. Bombay Bicycle Club have grown into a very good live act. Plenty in the back catalogue to choose from as well.
  15. The first 45 mins painted a very unpleasant picture. We were swept aside and bullied.
  16. FFS. Right thing to do getting him on the pitch for U23s, got to get him up to some sort of base of fitness.
  17. I agree TRO, but all the other teams are going to be feeling this as well. They all have better players than us as well which is an issue. We'd probably have about 5 points without Jack this season.
  18. Why do you keep saying this? Do you think it was a good decision to let him go? We've got no centre halves at all in reserve as of right now. It'll be Taylor or Elmo in at CB should someone get injured or sent off. It was a bad decision to let him go with no recall.
  19. I think that's very likely if we go down. He's remarkably similar to Pukki in style.
  20. 100% yes. Bournemouth lost at home to Watford the other day getting caught pissing around with it like we were. Against us, they got it forward and competed heavily, playing all the football in our half in the first 45 mins. We went short again and again, and as usual looked light in midfield because they had 3 in there and we had 2, one of which in Nakamba is as much use on the ball as a chocolate teapot.
