    Simply because Jack is now popular and Sir Gary is a contrarian. I don't know if multiple people post on SGC account or he's just wound me up to the extent I've convinced myself they do. I think we're very lucky to enjoy Jack, and the effort levels he puts in are a testament to his commitment. Can't see us staying up this season but I'm confident Jack will be the man working his hardest to stop that from happening.

    I think they'll get up automatically. Leeds and Brentford or WBA. Ridiculous domination of every game they play. When Augustin starts, they'll be 2-0 up by 70 mins every game. I think we're going down, and I don't want to play them any more. Don't get me wrong, this is all obviously such great fun. Them not getting up and Bielsa deciding to stay back in Argentina will be wonderful.

    He signed a juicy new contract when his stock was very high and I absolutely don't blame him. That was the window we had to get him to Villa Park. I'm torn between wanting him to play for villa and wanting villa and him to be at the same level. Ideal scenario... We stay up. Forest get up. He's shit for Forest for the season. They go down. We pick him up. He's an utter star alongside England captain Jack Grealish. He moves into a coaching role after 3 years of old man wing wizardry.

    That's terrible news. Did one of those predictor things and had us staying up despite losing at West Ham last day. I had some stuff that just doesn't seem possible though, Newcastle went down in 18th.

    He's been so good. The best of the best. It's a huge compliment to Ronaldo some think he's up there as good as Messi.

    Although it's annoying, all this noise is good for the end of the season. Even if we go down, the bigger a deal he seems the more we can charge, it all gets added up. As well as being an absolute baller, Jack is turning into a superstar. Playing for Villa, there's no way he should be the star of the England squad, but it feels like he's got the most eyes on him of any English player right now. £65m starting price for me.

    Can't believe he didn't come on v Bournemouth with 10 men. Smith been let down by him too many times, he's lost faith in him.

    If we play 343, it'll take something really poor from Spurs for us to get anything. Simply having an extra man in midfield will kill us, as it did at Bournemouth.

    He's an unbelievable all-round footballer. When he isn't being double marked and has got players he can actually pass to knowing they won't lose it with him he's going to get even better. When he moves he's going to get the Van Dijk elevation when most of the media say his new team have taken him to a new level. In fact he's already been at that level for a while, but most people not watching Villa just don't care and like to add big team hype to things.

    Sane is great. Jack is better. Jack also won't be going to City. Sadly, Utd are where he's probably going because they'll pay the most.

    He's really funny. And good looking. Don't give a toss if Sane has played for Brazil. How many goals do you think Jack would have scored for City if he'd played for them in the last two years. I can tell you it would be more than Sane because Sane would have been sat on the bench out the team with Jack there.
