  1. It's cos you're old bro. Two bits of content isn't "enough" for the day. I'm with your general thoughts tbh, but try not to let it bother you. You'll go mad looking at social media. It's just a load of noise. There's a bit of a trend right now, which will probably become standard and start leaking into real life, where people aren't allowed to enjoy anything because of XYZ that happened ABC months ago. The top end are pulling away from the rest of football and like shitting on everyone else. You aren't allowed to enjoy a win over Leicester in the cup because we went on to lose the final. Nope, sorry. HAHA. Can't enjoy a year since we won at St. Andrews because we lost last night to Leicester. Football will start getting very old in 15 years when 20 more clubs are out of business and Man City have won 45 of the last 60 available domestic trophies.
  2. He'll get 2 months at the start of next season. If we are in this position he'll get sacked then yes. Can't think of anyone who would come to us now I'd prefer to him going into next season. Feel free to suggest someone.
  3. I agree. Suso must go. I have no faith in anything if he keeps his job. Disastrous signings everywhere. If he goes there's some hope for Smith in the Championship. Last season, after about 4 weeks under Smith we were unrecognisable from the team Bruce was sending out. We're reeling madly now and the players are terrified as we're losing every game. We've lost our best central midfielder, our keeper and only had a striker from midway through January. The signs are there we can be organised. The start of this season we were absolutely not this bad. We could defend a corner ffs, yesterday was an embarrassment every ball into the box. We won every game in pre-season including a win over Leipzig who are about to go through to the quarter-final of Champs league. If we stay up I would shake Smith's hand and send him on his way. That's not going to happen, we're going down, so Smith stays for me.
  4. I agree with him that the players didn't give up. Outplayed, god yes. Didn't give up though. Reina 1-0. Not a pen for 2-0. We had a great opening before 3-0 but Davis and Samatta cocked it up ball up the other end Vardy doesn't **** about, 4-0 we're stretched right out and Guilbert can't stop Barnes run. Do I think Dean Smith will play a proper team and formation that doesn't mean teams walk though us? Nope. I'm afraid not. We might beat the likes of Newcastle and West Ham, but anyone who tries to go forward will get a lot of chances v us and it's Dean's fault.
  5. It all could have been so different if we'd signed him in the summer. What a disastrous window this summer was, set us back about 5 years. Would say the worst ever but the summer of 2016 doesn't look great.
  6. Thought he tried to pass the ball again. Didn't really happen. I'd start him every game in CM if Smith is going to refuse to play Grealish there.
  7. He struggled every single game in the Championship if we weren't dominating, the utter madness to still be starting him in March in the PL is unbelievable. A weak coward. Got a new 5 year deal in the summer don't forget.
  8. Anyone thinking we'll get a Sam figure in is in for disappointment. I'd be stunned if they sack Smith.
  9. Well we absolutely have been battered doing exactly that. I'm in the funny position of wanting to keep him if we go down but sack him if we stay up. He's too ambitious and just naive as to the quality he's dealing with. What's he doing picking Hourihane in games like City and Leicester?! We really needed that point v Spurs, the players are on the floor. Not one of them has any confidence.
  10. I agree again apart from the bold. The players we've ended up with are not worth £140m. How much do you think we'd get if we sold them all again? £80m? £90m? We bought trash. Smith insisting on three up front and not knowing how to play any shape aside from 433 has also killed us. There's no hope beyond opponents not turning up. We can score I have no doubt, that's easier with three strikers. We cannot keep anyone out at all.
  11. And then when we got injured we saw what "bad" actually was. Grealish has to play in midfield when McGinn isn't there. You just cannot trust any of the others.
  12. Understand your point. We could have stayed up if we didn't buy a load of crap though. £40m on three forwards and started the game with Elmo up front.
  13. Reckon we'll get anything off VAR this season? Absolutely boned all season long.
  14. Smith's insistence on what is basically three really wide strikers is almost as bad as our recruitment. It's killing us. Need bodies in the middle of the pitch.
  15. It isn't like this every game from corners, not sure what's happening here. Maddison's delivery is good but christ.
  16. I would love it...love it, if we'd head the ball away from a corner.
  17. **** sake we look like we're constantly going to give it away.
  18. Can't be good for his hair to dye it this often. Needs to be careful the lad.
  19. It'll only be scapegoating if he plays well. Hopefully he does.
  20. Hourihane... I just can't believe he's starting. Maybe Smith is banking on them playing badly. That's the only scenario he has any impact here. Cowardly in every action he takes. Popping the ball off to anyone else under pressure then hiding so they can't give it him back is his worst trait. If we're all over them, he'll likely have some fun over on the left with Jack and Targett going forward. He loves that wide overlap. Prove me wrong Conor and show some bravery on the ball and hold the middle of the pitch.
  21. Elmo told me. I trust him.
