  1. anyone watch the racing yesterday and see the jockey on the favourite at Worcester at 4pm stop riding at the half furlong maker thing he'd won? not sure he would have won anyway but what a dime bar!!! https://www.britishhorseracing.com/racing/stewards-reports/ Joe Anderson the rider of TROLLEY BOY, placed second beaten by half a length, appeared to mistake the ½ furlong marker for the winning post. After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Anderson was suspended for 10 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that could have finished first.
  2. He'll be moved on we are moving to another level
  3. There's a good thread here from Luis Miguel Echegaray which is worth a read
  4. It's bye bye Southampton I think Forest will get 3 more points, possibly 4 as they'll beat Southampton at home and maybe sneak a draw from somewhere. Leeds v Bournemouth and Leicester v Everton are two massive 6 pointers Bournemouth and West Ham are safe. Looking at the reaming games it's difficult to see many of the bottom teams picking up many points and 34 could well be safety. Bookies have Southampton and Everton as down!! Bournemouth 36 - Leeds H - Chelsea H - Palace A - Man U H - Everton A - 40/1 West Ham 34 - Palace A - Man City A - Man Utd H - Brentford A - Leeds H - Leicester A - 33/1 Leeds 30 - Bournemouth A - Man City A - Newcastle H - West Ham A - Spurs H - 10/11 Nottm Forest 30 - Brentford A - Southampton H - Chelsea A - Arsenal H - Palace A - 8/11 Leicester 29 - Everton H - Fulham A - Liverpool H - Newcastle A - West Ham H - 6/4 Everton 28 - Leicester A - Brighton A - Man City H - Wolves A - Bournemouth H - 1/2 Southampton 24 - Newcastle A - Forest A - Fulham H - Brighton A - Liverpool H - 1/25
  5. Seen this on a Villa FB group and thought i'd post it in here. As tough a run in we have, it's all in our own hands and the teams we have to play will now see us as tough opposition to face. While Brighton have games in hand they have a tough schedule
  6. The VP crowd is certainly changing. I wasn't at the game but I was impressed how the Holte End got behind the team in the second half with plenty of chanting when nothing was really happening with us. It came across well on the TV. You could see it gave the team a lift. This wouldn't of happened 6 months ago.

    Watches

if you've got your heart set on a Milguass, then don't give up on it. Just go to an AD, not Watches of Switzerland or another big name but a more localised dealer, and strike up a relationship, get your name on the waiting list and you might be surprised at how quick you get the call. Don't compromise on your desires. Get the Breitling and no doubt you'll love it....but i reckon you'll still want the Milguass.
  12. I was going to post this earlier. After all that and with what is happening at Chelsea, It just illustrates he will never get another job managing ever again. If he wants to work in football again it will be Sky or BT or a foreign football channel. As soon as this spell at Chelsea comes to an end he's finished
  13. 7 games to go apart from West Ham who have 8 to play A massive win for Bournemouth and the Dog Heads should see both of them safe now assuming they both get more points in the remaining games No real surprise with the bottom 3 losing but i thought Everton may have got something from the Fulham game. Puts them right in it with the fixtures they have got left. Leeds ripped apart again. Bournemouth 33 - West Ham H - Southampton A - Leeds H - Chelsea H - Palace A - Man U H - Everton A West Ham 31 - Bournemouth A - Liverpool H - Palace A - Man City A - Man Utd H - Brentford A - Leeds H - Leicester A Leeds 29 - Fulham A - Leicester H - Bournemouth A - Man City A - Newcastle H - West Ham A - Spurs H Everton 27 - Palace A - Newcastle H - Leicester A - Brighton A - Man City H - Wolves A - Bournemouth H Nottm Forest 27 - Liverpool A - Brighton H - Brentford A - Southampton H - Chelsea A - Arsenal H - Palace A Leicester 25 - Wolves H - Leeds A - Everton H - Fulham A - Liverpool H - Newcastle A - West Ham H Southampton 23 - Arsenal A - Bournemouth H - Newcastle A - Forest A - Fulham H - Brighton A - Liverpool H Latest odds
  14. Terrific article/interview with Unai. Gives a great insight to the man himself and his values. This is well worth reading. Non-negotiables with Unai Emery - "Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the only players I'd sign who don't share my values!" We sat down with the Aston Villa manager to discuss the key coaching values and philosophies he won’t compromise on and how they influence his management style.
  15. @Zhan_Zhuang Check out avforums (no, it's not another Villa site) There's a whole load of mind blowing info on there to help you make your mind up. Hopefully that might help you
