This reminds me of this simple bit of physics... If you fired a gun parallel to perfectly flat ground, and at the exact moment the trigger was pulled you dropped an identical bullet from same height, which would the ground first? The answer seems obvious - they hit the ground at the same time. But an awful lot of people think the dropped one hits first, as if momentum can completely outfox gravity alone.

The speed record for helicopters is 249.09mph, set in 1986 by a stripped out British Westland Lynx. It is a record that is unlikely to be bettered thanks to the limitations of the way helicopters work.

Agreed. He's full of running and energy, but we need a bit more quality. A big wad of cash to buy a new striker and Stephen Ireland in part ex and we'll be in good shape. Same sentiments. Rip them off and be done with him.

My main issue with Ireland is he's madder than a sack of weasels. Good player otherwise. We could do with someone with his skillset.

Same. I was kind of looking forward to having Ireland in our central midfield and £15m extra to play with. Similar. I think the money could do a lot for this side. I'm also one of those that doesn't believe Milner is quite as good as he's cracked up to be (not saying he's a bad player, by any means, probably our best one way or another). I think if we were to get £25-£30m for him we'd be laughing, he's not worth that in any realm bar one where Citeh come knocking. Not necessarily desperate for Ireland mind .

I did consider Liverpool/Everton, but wouldn't he land at Liverpool John Lennon in that case? If he goes to either of the Manc clubs colour me confused (which I believe is an eclectic shade of yellow) EDIT - Assuming it's at all true, which given the source is slim.

Huntelaar has apparently arrived at Manchester Airport. I say apparently because it's Talksport/goal.com reporting it. I have no idea why Citeh would buy him and theres not a chance in hell he's good enough for United.

A couple of friends of mine are doing the same this year through EPIK, a South Korean government run program. I was looking at doing it but it seems to realistically do it, and make some cash at the same time, you need a bit behind you to start with, which I didn't. But apparently they are one of the better ones to go through. There are a fair few stories online of people essentially being scammed in S. Korea through these English teaching programs, so I think I'd prefer to go through one run by their government than a private company.

Doesn't even make sense calling the Reserves 'Elites'. The Elite, is the creme de la creme, the best... which the reserves clearly aren't because if they were they wouldn't be in the Reserves. Still, the whole thing is painfully funny. -

And you can believe that. In my case it isn't true though, I just don't like the player at all. I was happy when we bought him, I thought he'd be useful for a while to come and grow as a player here. And he didn't. And he flaws gradually irked me to the point I decided he'd be the first to go in the midfield.
