  1. Jesus, nowhere near that bad, thank ****. Incidentally on the hair clippers front, if you like to keep stubble/decent beard length/a hobo beard, they're really good and useful, even cheap ones. I use one, much much better than using the trimmer on the back of an electric razor, as the cries of agony that no longer issue from the bathroom when I'm getting ready to go out in our house can testify.
  2. I trim. As a hairy, unevolved bloke, I don't think I could shave that clean down there, it'd look ridiculous.

Apparently bursting into flames is something they do quite well
  4. He's already turned down Liverpool mate. I'd just sit back and not worry, it'll make things easier. We will make purchases. Eventually.
  5. Just re-listened to Rant in E-Minor for the first time in years. Bill Hicks, brilliant, genuinely worthy of the being called a genius. I wish I could have seen him live.
  6. The largest photo ever taken - 70 Billion Pixels
  7. Badgers can be quite vicious and territorial. It was probably was in the area, caught whiff of your food and then thought it might see what happened if it followed the smell. Despite being vicious, they're also brilliant.

Aww man it was stunning IMO. That's a pretty car. It's got all the basis for an achingly pretty car. But the thing that ruins it is the headlights for me, it makes it look too fussy, too fiddly. The little gash (is it a vent?) that comes down from the headlight under the bonnet just completely ruins the look for me and stops it being genuinely pretty.
  9. Whatever you do, don't listen to the b-side of the single called So What It got the single banned, everyone was meant to take the single back to the shop an claim a refund like anyone did that I don't think I've ever heard a better recommendation to listen to a song . And you should, it's a cracker. Well, I've been to Hastings, and I've been to Brighton, I've been to Eastbourne too...
  10. Ah, I know. It's sometimes infuriating when you're left hanging. I have my moments when it knocks me, and others were I just accept that meh, it's probably not that important. Or perhaps it isn't worth investing much hope even in your friends if feeling particularly nihilistic. Unfortunately it's something I'm regularly guilty of myself - I don't like to reply instantly to texts often, especially with love interests or closer mates. With love interests, it makes you come across as desperate, with mates, often a bit dull, as if you've nothing better to do. ... I fear that last bit betrays my neurotic nature a bit I've never actually seen her so I wouldn't know. Only reason I even know is my mate is also a bit of a fan of the band so going to school with his daughter was tantamount to coming close to 'God' for him
  11. Hmm. Well, no it's not. But sometimes it slips the mind or whatever. Sometimes I think people forget how important a reply can be. Theres people in my phobebook I'll have my heart leap when I see a text from them. I wouldn't overly take it to heart. Mate of mine went to school with their lead singers daughter IIRC. Apparently a bit of a looker. One for the rubbish claims to fame thread.
  12. They generally are pretty shit.
  13. Any sense of moralty waggles it's stick in 'Arry's bucket if you will. Or throws it's sausage down his halfway.

I tried to recognise a few but my knowledge of Brum's roads is laughable. Interesting episode to finish on. The English Sports Car skit could have been funnier, biggest laugh was the horrendous noise from the TVR on full lock, the rest was a bit tepid. Not terribly impressed with the Ferrari either. Don't even agree that it was particularly pretty. Oh well... away Top Gear goes again for a while.
  15. Far too soft, bloody apologists for mentalists. As a side note, she accused my uni department of antisemitism, twice, the second time accusing one of my lecturers directly of the same when the bloke was anything but. **** hateful old bint. ...carry on
  16. No, it's you. He's crap, we know because it's been said on here a thousand times, about three separate ways. That must be right, then. In the red corner, Chindie, several England managers, and most informed football commentators. In the blue corner, oooh, a few internetty peeps. I should get out quick if I were you. I've never felt he was as awful as made out here but he does look genuinely good when someone with some sense of movement is in the side. For all the good Gabby does, his movement and so on are never going to lend him to playing off someone. Which is a shame. He's looked useful today and his role in build up play, linking with Albrighton and the Fonz when he was on, was useful to us and a big part of our improvement second half imo.
  17. Is it me or has Heskey looked better with people who aren't thick around him?
  18. Heskey scores with what looked like a really ungainly volley... ...and on comes the Fonz.
  19. Will be watching it myself, great film. Will round off a Nolan trilogy for me today - Inception earlier, Memento this evening, Insomnia for the night (boom boom).
  20. Last year that may have been referred to as 'THE LASER!'
  21. Bang, Albrighton screamer.
  22. No good cause to warrant sacking him imo. So 'Yes'.
  23. Played there before and considers it his natural position, might work out. He's certainly got the brains to play there.
