  1. You're pregnant. If you submit a mistake like that in any of the work you do at university you'll be crucified! :!:  Football studies. I don't think they'd care. They'd probably be impressed if any written work wasn't done in crayon.
  2. It'll be Cold War era weapons. A lot will be recognisable from Modern Warfare 2. In fact, heres the full list of whats currently believed to be available in game. link Most modern weapons are from Cold War development so not surprising that a lot of the weapons are ones you'd recognise from COD4 or MW2. The Assault Rifle designated the Commando appears to just be an M4 so no entirely sure why it's got a different name. I'm surprised they didn't put in a gimmick like one of the coolest Cold War weapons, the APS Amphibious Assault Rifle, a gun specifically designed to be fired underwater.
  3. Regardless of the CL fixtures always being midweek... midweek fixtures are always a pain, no matter what. You'd still think though that an arguably rather historic and important game, that all aside, wouldn't need to go to general sale.
  4. Seems they're the zombie maps from WaW.
  5. Normal edition: Just the game like any other game Hardened: Steelbook case, Avatar goodies, some co-op maps, and a medal. Prestige: As the above but with a little RC car that has a camera and mic that transmit back to the radio control unit. ...the latter 2 charging you a considerable premium.
  6. This is their first CL proper home game isn't it? They've apparently not sold out and put the tickets on general sale. I know it's hardly the most tantalising fixture and it's Wednesday night and money's tight but come on, first CL game at home? Surely they'd sell out.
  7. Agree. One of the best bits of TV I've ever seen. Bleak, brutal, touching, funny... fantastic. The character of Lols dad, a hard role but played with almost frightening intensity. I was also surprised to see Combo's involvement become what it was.
  8. This is England 86 finale was brilliant.
  9. Could put something like maybe?
  10. I lived with a mate and his girlfriend last year. Wasn't too bad. They'd met before uni. Of the people who went off round the country leaving partners elsewhere, especially if they'd both gone to uni, none of them lasted that I knew.
  11. Political studies, basically a straight up interpol course. I've no idea what I'm gonna do for work really, having a bit of a scattergun approach currently, but was kinda hanging a lot of hope on this scheme.
  12. Hmm... it's the only thing thats jumped out at me with my degree... I think I've got to try really. Not holding out much hope mind.
  13. A robbery. Friedel 8. Did what was asked and pulled off a couple of goof saves. Gained an annoying habit of having the ball bounce just away from him before he grabs it which leaves me a tad worried. L. Young 7. Seemed a little keen to come flying in, once letting Jarvis waltz past him and a couple of other times making a tackle on thin air. Otherwise solid. Warnock 7. Had 40 mins where he seemed to want the ref to book him and got caught on his heels once or twice, but a great cross for the winner. Cuellar 9. MOTM. A monster performance, and needed considering how under the cosh we were. Reads the game very well, tackles well, heads it well... love him. Collins 8. Just slightly outshone by Cuellar, he was also a rock. Slightly less agricultural than his partner but still pretty much faultless. Great celebration too. Albrighton 7. I'm not sure we should be relying on him yet. He's easily outmuscled and despite his efforts, not so good on the backfoot. Great cross for the opener, but after that slowly drifted out before being substituted a little later than I would have. NRC 6. Alright. Put himself about and showed some nice passes. We need more than that though imo. His break in the first half showed all the reaosns he's not a box to box man, may have the engine but nothing else. The better of the CMs but it has to be said, thats not saying much. Petrov 5. Probably the worst performance he's put in recently. We got out battled in midfield and couldn't put a foot on it, and Petrov looked lost. Downing 7. A scoring habit is a nice thing to have, unless it's heroin. A. Young 7. He was our outlet but he wasn't able to really shine because how little he was helped. Customary overhit freekick and crosses as per, but he looked keen to do something... I'm still not convinced about him through the middle, but Houllier wants him to be our Owen so I guess we'll have time to be convinced. Heskey 8. Towering monster header, loads of good work all over the shop. You can tell he knows how to link play, which is unusual for our side. Involved in the first goal as well. Good performance, hope he keeps it up, especially if he can drag more net bursting headers out of his locker. Subs Gabby 6. Out on the wing and not doing a whole lot. He's passing very very crisply now though, worked on his skill obviously. Sidwell. Not really worth rating, had 9mins on the field and managed to break the Wolves man and thats about it. We can't afford for that to happen to our midfield again. The CM was ragged, Petrov was lost and NRC, whilst the better, really wasn't good enough either. Being fair Wolves sent a lot down the wings early which the CM would always struggle to stamp out but even so, they weren't exactly faultless. As said, it's a robbery though, Wolves deserved something from that match, but its nice for us to snatch victory now and again.
  14. Finally got round to applying for the graduate Civil Service Fast Stream. The thing has just reminded me that I haven't done any serious maths in 6 years and wasn't all that comfortable with it in the first place. I just got raped by even mildly difficult percentages. On the plus side my 'verbal reasoning' is good enough, apparently .
  15. Mono - Mere Your Pathetique Light into Reuben - Moving to Blackwater
  16. Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls. (a song I had as my text message tone for a while and now whenever I hear those bells I automatically reach for my phone like a conditioned reaction Pavlov would be proud of) into Explosions in the Sky - Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean
  17. An Important Memo - Terrorists are now Irish again. Possibly Irish and Muslim, but definitely got a hint of the Emerald Isles about them.
  18. Careful BOF, what with the sweetner worries and seeing UFOs, you're on a destructive path to this...
  19. /b/ is claiming it took down Facebook today, apparently.
  20. Was thinking about RDR earlier. It's probably the tautest story driven game Rockstar have done, it's brilliant in fact. But it doesn't have the replay value of something like GTA did. GTA4 had some evidence of that (it just isn't as fun as the older iterations), and RDR seems to be the next step on to me, it's a brilliant game but when your done, your more or less done. Theres little to piss about with single player wise, especially if like myself you did a lot of the side quests while you played the story.
  21. An absolutely **** off enormous storm cloud has rumbled over our area, it's gone abnormally dark. It's been weird watching these little balls of lightning in the cloud slowly approach. Even weirder, the stormfront is so enormous it's like a big black wall in the sky creeping towards us. On the plus side, I **** love storms.
