He's disappointed me hugely.

Battery life isn't going to be great on any phone that powerful at the mo. However, you can make the battery last if you need to. I've had mine last into 3 days with careful/low usage - no wifi (which rapes the battery in my experience), little 3g use, just calls and texts and leaving it alone. If you're fiddling with it constantly the screen is a big drain on the battery, it's just that big that even with a SAMOLED screen it's draining power constantly. You can cut that down a little by setting the brightness lower and having darker backgrounds/dark wallpaper. But obviously the best option is just have the screen used less. It's also not the worst battery performance for that kinda phone, generally.

My worry is that if we're expecting him to be the man putting in great cross after great cross... he'd need to do something he's never done before. His entire career has seen his crossing be pretty hit and miss.

I think at our place it's 2 days... but I'm also sure that some of the preorders for the Augmented edition were deposits. We were worried that over the weekend people are gonna come for their copies and we ain't gonna have them all. Thankfully one of those preorders is mine while we were bumping up our preorder figures :oops:

It wouldn't make a difference if he didn't come back - the idea is dead, it's purpose has been surpassed, it is pointless. As for whats posted there, yes it would be nice if everyone was respectful, but thats never going to happen. And frankly some of the stuff that is put to him is warranted - he's said some bloody stupid stuff that were effectively lies insofar as the truth/reality is concerned, he can reap what he sowed.

Aye IIRC the BBFC rating takes the general feel/intention of the film into account quite heavily. You could make a very scary film with no gore no swearing no nudity or sex and get an 18. Part of the problem with Alien may be that it's probably not been reclassified recently. They would have reclassified the Directors Cut from a few years back, whether they dropped it down is another matter... probably not.

I think this edition is going to mix up the formula a bit, they've spoken a lot about the things they're changing and the like - bigger variety in the racing for example IIRC. The Top Gear stuff will also hopefully give it a bit more fun factor to play with. The career mode is a grind, but theres still something I like about it. I pop it on once in a while and do a couple of tournaments, I got to level 40/45 before I stopped really giving it a proper go.

Held off myself. There's bigger titles coming that interest me more - I'll either borrow it or buy when it comes on the preowned market at a decent price. Had a fantastic cock up with preorders on this - the Augmented edition is a preorder only item for us at the moment, meaning we only get the copies that people had preordered... we had 20 preorders. We got given 18 copies. We're all now praying a number of those don't come asking for it

No Porsches in the game sadly. The last game had shitloads . Licencing issue with EA. Turn10 have had a bit of a whinge about it, but they can't really talk, they've enforced licences before now, hence TDU2 not having the 458 Italia.

Coming early October, and looking absolutely fantastic. Got my preorder down for the Limited Edition already. Top Gear are heavily involved in the game, providing some commentary on some of the cars, their Test Track is also featured (along with the Kia Cee'd so you can compare yourself properly to the 'celebrities'). Looks incredible, I'll upload some screenshots later. The game also is going to feature bonuses for people who have already played Forza 3, looks like it'll earn you bonus cars to get started with. And if you have a preorder down, email proof of that and they'll send you some bonus stuff too when the game drops.

Can you imagine the effect that'll have on that child in the future? Or the parents for that matter?

I liked Rescue Dawn. It plays a bit hard and fast with the actual story of those fellas though. Were one of them not dead he could probably sue for the portrayal of himself.
