  1. It's a decent trailer. Doesn't assuage my fears that it's going to be a weaker entry than TDK, but I think it's safe to say that Nolan is going to ramp up the spectacle. I'm never going to be a fan of Bane, in all honesty, and I'm still not sure about his looks in this interpretation... but I'm not too bothered by voice. I didn't have too much trouble hearing him on a terrible copy of the prologue release from last year, and with this redubbing I can understand every word. And I kinda like the accent he has, theres something calculatingly sinster about his voice. I do think they might have overblown the dub though now, he's too clear - it's like he's got a small megaphone when he's talking, he's over the top of all the sounds too much. It's looking good, anyway. It'll be good to see an enemy that can take Batman on toe to toe - no-one in Nolan's universe thus far has really chose to brawl it out with him. Sure the Joker took him on but that was like a beating on a disorientated man than a proper fight. And given whats been said about the portrayal of Bane as a truly brutal adversary, I'm excited. Not sure about having as large a Catwoman focus as this seems to suggest it will have though. As much as I'm happy to see Hathaway in tight catsuits, I'm not a great fan of the character.
  2. Yep, I've come to the conclusion that this really is a hugely, hugely flawed game. Navigating a game should not be this much of a tedious chore.
  3. If you're trying to stay fresh for the release that trailer for sure I would avoid like the plague. It appears to be the trailer that every film seems to have these days, the one where it lays out the entire plot and then has clips of every major moment in the film.
  4. Yeah one of the viral spots is on Digbeth High Street...
  5. I'm dying to go see it again - hopefully going with mates tomorrow night or Wednesday. Gonna settle back into a bit this time, I was on the edge of my seat for the whole thing last time. Apart from when the film broke and melted.
  6. yeah i think this is the likely ending. i dont expect a happy ending on this one Bane will break him pretty early on. A part of the film will show him ****, trying to work out what he needs to do to best Bane and trying to recover. Thats more or less a given now imo. How it ends is more open to debate. Personally, as I've said, I think the recovered Batman beats Bane (+ whoever he's working with/for), but the effort is too much for him and he either dies, or has to give up. Still not been confirmed to my knowledge if the new trailer is coming with the Avengers... I certainly hope so though, this might be the trailer were we get to see some confirmation of exactly what the plot is going be.
  7. Excellent episode of Game of Thrones this week. The pace seems to be building properly now.
  8. Is that the Trials Trophy ones? I haven't unlocked 'em yet, though the next level down was easier then I thought it would be so I'm either getting better or just getting luckier. **** Gigatrack though, **** it in it's ass. I believe they are the Trial's Trophy ones - when you unlock it it turns into an event called 'Flatliner'. I'm not great at the game (I found it got increasingly difficult past the B licence to the point I scraped past 135 medals by messing around with the skill games) but the Flatliner event series is insanely hard. It seems to like throwing steep ascents with awkward jumps at the end at you, imagine 'that hill' on the Ascent track but needing to nail the end to make the next checkpoint.
  9. I suspect that Ridley is going to throw that Space Jockey bio into a bin on the farside of Lv-426.
  10. I'd almost have liked to see what Norton would have done in the role. I imagine Banner would have been in every scene. Even the ones inside the Iron Man armour... Just remembered a great bit
  11. Thats a top trailer and has me desperate to see it again, but blimey - it seems to give the entire game away?!
  12. To be fair the second Hulk film, the Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and so is the build up for that character in the Avengers in the same was the Iron Man, Thor and Captain America films were. Unfortunately Ed Norton is a pain in the arse to work with so they ditched him and brought in Ruffalo. It's turned out to be a blessing, Ruffalo is superb. I'm beginning to think the Hulk just doesn't work in his own films. Certainly worked in the Avengers though, steals the film.
  13. It's clearly a prequel to Alien. But as Stevo985 says, it's probably going to stand on it's own legs quite well. I suspect a lot of why Ridley Scott was hazy on it being a prequel to Alien is that it won't have the direct thematic similarities that you'd expect from a prequel, it's going to be telling a story in it's own right that just so happens to be set in and lead into, the Alien canon. As it is, knowledge of the Alien universe might give you little nods and winks, but you'd almost certainly be able to not know a thing of Alien and enjoy it. You'll just have the Alien fans nudging each other going 'OMG ITS THE SPACE JOCKEY! OMG ITS THE DERELICT! OMG ITS LV-426!'. ...or not on the last point...
  14. As for extra scenes - I sincerely hope theres a shitload and an extended edition is released. Some people complain that the films a bit too long as it is, I on the other hand didn't want it to end. And I'm down for more scenes. I particularly hope the scene Whedon has specifically said he's cut, Cap and Peggy reunion, was actually filmed, as it could be a really great scene. More Loki, more Thor also wouldn't go amiss.
  15. I think so. It has a greater impact on Marvel fans. Someone who isn't a fan is going to not have a clue what that particular scene entails, whereas a fan knows that that scene hints at enormous things in this universe. Your average viewer will just go 'Oh.' Or worse, feel a little disappointed by it, a fan will go mad. Its very much fan service.
  16. I really doubt that there will be a post credit scene in the US release - it doesn't make sense. Either RDJ was having a laugh or they were off to do a quick scene for the home media release.
  17. It seperates no matter how you store it. Just shake it before you use it.
  18. People who keep tomato sauce in the fridge are deviants. I used to have scrambled egg covered in tomato sauce when I was younger. Lovely. Looking like a recently removed brain, but lovely.
  19. They are **** idiots. Everybody knows that you should have a few speculative efforts from 35 yards in the final ten minutes of a game where you are getting humped so it makes the stats look a bit better in the morning. Classic FIFA/PES wallpapering, like it.
  20. I finally unlocked the top level of tracks this afternoon. 460 odd faults and 20 odd minutes later, I managed to finish one. ****. Them.
