  1. Sadly, he won't. I'd have him gone before he leaves the stadium tonight. Absolutely hopeless, the definition of a chanced, all mouth and certainly no trousers.
  2. My work drawer is currently filled with enough nurofen to kill a horse so I'm certainly glad there's no interview with a chemist to get it...
  3. If only it was all history...
  4. Pacific Rim 2 has probably been binned. I was surprised it got this far tbh.. I like the first fun for some schlocky nonsense trading on nostalgia for Kaiju movies, but financially it didn't do well enough to justify big bucks on a sequel.
  5. I recorded that, but saw the reaction today that effectively labeled it tripe. Apparently makes Jack Thompson out to be some kind of hero, which is a travesty as in reality he's a quite pathetic and snide character who wouldn't know what being a hero was if it smacked him in the head.
  6. Is that the truck airport mission in Africa? There's an incredibly easy way to S rank that mission in about 5 minutes :D. Not sure how to do hidden content on the forum though...
  7. Alien vs Predator Requiem is amongst the worst movies I've ever seen. It reduces the Predator to a cleaner (to the extent the Predator in the movie has the semi official name now of 'the Wolf Predator', after the Wolf character in Pulp Fiction, and now Direct Line...) and the movie ends on what I can only think is a metaphor for what the director wanted to do to the entire project by the end. It even makes the Predalien shit.
  8. I'm willing to bet there's more to anything like that apparent story than 'EU 'uman Rights born mad!'. Not that such a thing exists. Anyway, the EU struggling with this situation, and I don't think it's a crisis or anything of the sort, is a lot to do with the fact it's an unprecedented event, and also the fact the EU has no real guidance in anything like this. It's an example of the organisation developing naturally as things progress. It's never had this problem, it was never designed from the ground up to deal with this, and it'll try to react to it instead. A lot of the problems the EU has are due to the fact it's been cobbled together over the years with no grand plan, and this will be just the latest one.
  9. I really don't know what to make of that. Scarlet Johansson just doesn't sound right for that character at all, and a lot of the rest of the cast doesn't quite either. I love Bill Murray but is he Baloo? Christopher Walken as King Louie? Hmm... But it could be great.
  10. it's definitely a break, his foot was basically hanging off his leg with shin having a bend in it. He's snapped his fib and tib.
  11. Luke Shaw just had his leg snap in 2. Gruesome injury.
  12. He basically takes any effort out of scouting areas.
  13. I've barely used Quiet. DDog is too good.
  14. I much prefer the muslamification of Europe myself. Rolls off the tongue.
  15. I've been slowly plugging away at thisthis so have a lot left to play, but I can safely say that the child soldier mission well be a low point for the game as a whole. **** that mission.
  16. I also enjoyed Legend. I think the enjoyment depends on how you view it, if you expect something serious and straight, you'll be disappointed as the film is obsessed with the mythos of the Krays, ticking off stories and rumours and the big events and playing them almost in caricature. You can blame the marketing for that, they have gone for the slightly gritty gangster tale angle mostly and or isn't really that... It almost plays more like a comedy. But I enjoyed it for that. Hardy is very good even if his Ronnie is a parody. He carries the whole thing, everyone else being very much supporting cast to his dual roles. The score is distracting, it is too forward and to obvious in it's presence in the film, but I don't think it's bad. Not the best movie you'll see this year but a fun couple of hours.
  17. This is what you get when your managed by someone who is learning the game and gives all the clues that even when he's learnt it, he won't be all that good at it. Despicable result.
  18. The game had a similar layout to the game that it's closest to, Peace Walker - that is it has an ending, but then asks you revisit some missions with the difficulty ramped up as well as some new missions to see a true ending. It's a weird choice but one that's not unprecedented. Basically when you see an ending chances are you've actually not finished it
  19. Maybe more conpiricy then. Its all over the interweb. Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region What 'rumour'? Maybe more conpiricy then. Its all over the interweb. Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region Rubbish. Al Qaeda was formed after US involvement in the Soviet Afghan war. Even the **** name gives a hint towards that. If figures in ISIS were given training in their early days by the US, their position today is not what the US would want. Or anyone besides perhaps the Saudis and co would want. The US doesn't really care about Iran being a power in the region. They are happy with Iran being strong ifof it keeps the region reasonably stable and let's them do business with them. Iran previously was hated because it was a wildcard that threw that stability out, increasingly that's seemingly being overcome. ISIS adds in a whole new crazy wildcard and endends up causing everyone grief except the few nations in the region that want to have miniature clone states tip the balance.
  20. Quiets modeled by a real person, but they blew up the tits a fair bit.
  21. 'Some of these people are bastards so **** the lot of them.' A line of thinking that has a logical conclusion of launching all the nukes as some people of every people are words removed.
  22. I'd imagine by this point you kinda know if you're going to like something like this. So why watch it if you know it's going to be a 1/10? Sadism? I dislike most French cinema, so I don't watch it. Always wanted to read that. I do like Joel Edgerton so hopefully he does it justice.
  23. There's something about the casual 'more Muslims'll **** the country' line here that really, really sits uneasy with me. And I despise Islam and think an awful lot of people are words removed..
  24. My knowledge of Jessica Jones is pretty low, but I'll be surprised if they do too much of her overt powers. I understand that the run this will be inspired by is pretty damn good and goes very dark so it'll probably fit with Daredevil alright. Luke Cage does appear. His series will be an interesting one because.. Well... He's basically a blaxploitation character viewed through a white geek lens so is for all intents a parody character. And his power famously means he doesn't really have many things that can threaten him which kills tension. Then we've got Iron Fist which goes snooker loopy... I think they will be good though, just likely to be uneven. Daredevil will be the best of them, Iron Fist done well has potential. Jessica Jones will be interesting and the cast is bang onon so has the foundation to succeed.
