Bloody hell. Just read this entire thread. I think it's reaffirmed my hate for religion. I have a genuine pity for the cult members. It is sad that clearly vulnerable people have been drawn to this for some form of 'completion' in their lives. I didn't see the documentary (might have a trawl round for it), and I'm sure that there has been some manipulation for effect, but the fact is, it's slander if its not true. And then you have a law case on your hands. It's interesting that this hasnt been pursued. It doesn't quite add up. I'm sure you're all very happy and thats great. But I'd be wary of what lies behind the cult. I am amazed how well this has worked out as a thread... it has a very disturbing tint to me. It contains an awful lot of preaching (that's almost ironic really), again it doesn't quite add up. There is no logical reason to defend the faith. It's cut off from the world anyway, why should it need to be defended it is indeed the true way? Nobody else can join... why do you need to defend it? It just doesn't add up to me.

Agathe and Sutton were stop gaps that cost us nothing. It's hard to criticise MON on those 2, sure they didnt set the world on fire by any means but they were brought in as squad fillers that could do a job and didn't cost us a penny outside of wages. The same could be said of Bardsley really, he was a rightback fill in. Harewood was bought as bench filler that might be able to do a job. I think the fee we paid for him says alot about the position the club is in now. We can afford to spend 4 mill on a bench warmer. Knight hasn't been that bad really. He dropped a huge clanger of a performance against Man U but otherwise he's not been that bad IMO. Not brilliant either to be fair, but I'm fairly sure he's a stop gap too, allowing Mellberg to go out right. Maloney cost a small fee and he's looked to have a bit of class about him, hasn't settled but that's not MON's fault. Petrov has started to show the kind of talent we expected when he signed, again he's struggled to adapt to the Prem but he's started to come good now. And so on. I'd be interested to hear exactly who you would have bought in managers position, realistically. For me, he's not done a whole lot wrong. The rightback is his big failing so far but if he wants a certain player, I can't argue against him waiting till he can have him. Considering the season we've had so far, it's not even been that big of an issue.

I don't there's that many Non-Believers. It's just they are very vocal and you notice them more. And it's not just the boards it restores some of my faith in, it's humanity as well. Some comments on here recently have been absolutely ridiculous.

There'd be little point in signing Odonkor IMO. He's pretty much Gabby but more technical and happy on the wing. The only way I'd see us being interested would be as competition for Young but even then...

Odonkor is a German right winger, stupidly fast. Currently at Betis but I don't think he's played much this season. Beyond that I dunno.

Hi 1st post etc etc... he apparently plays RIGHT MIDFIELD!...Although that video makes him out to be more of a striker...versatility is good I suppose
