    Good character coming back in that one. I voted Digne motm. Put a proper shift in. Referee/VAR is just......broken. Giving their goal was an utterly appalling decision that could have really shafted our European campaign. Overall we were far from our best, especially in the final third, but got the job done by relying on our big names. Perhaps it shows that we still need to strengthen our squad depth a bit. Shout outs to Youri, and Dougie of course.

    I think there was a thing a little while ago, when we had tons of injuries, and one player walked off rather than take a stretcher, and was then out for ages. I thought it was JJ, but I could be wrong. Everyone on here was very angry, anyway.

    In fairness on a few occasions I think we've deliberately rejected risky but potentially fruitful passing options for the sake of ball retention. I'm thinking specifically of Lenglet stepping up, when he could have tried a through ball to Ollie who was on the CBs shoulder, but instead checked back and went with an easy ball. Now it could be that certain players have been bottling the risky option, but I doubt it. I think it's more likely that they've been asked to hold onto the ball, and limit risk. It's a trait of continental football.

    Just to be clear, my posting of 'Let off' was in response to us holding it at the back too long, losing possession on the edge of the box and gifting them a gilt edge chance, not the high line. Thx.
