Imagine being abused by anyone from Solihull! I'd smack them upside their head with their truffle and chardonnay vinegar ciabatta from Pret, and send them home with their nose in their waitrose bag for life.

I get the criticism, he is struggling atm, no question. I just......can't shake the thought that he will be one of those that in 4 years or so will be at Bayern or Madrid, and be known as a top player. There's just a little kernel of something there that says this boy has got a bright future, but I can't put my finger on it.

We were 8 points behind the leader Man U in week 25, unfortunately that was a high point, and by week 27 we were 13 points behind. We slipped further away in the coming weeks (21 points behind by Week 32), and finished the season 27 points behind Man U, who won. Incidentally, the difference between us and the winner that year was one point less than the difference last year.- 209 replies

Playing devil's advocate here, cos I don't know about Cash's fitness, but some players can't handle 3 games in 10 days, and we haven't got an established backup right back. The error was not getting competition for Cash in the summer. An error pretty much all of us saw coming, unfortunately.

This time it doesn't make sense for them to fix it so we play Man U. I actually want them this time. We'd have them on toast.

I really loved when Jhon lost the ball in the opponent's half in the Legia game, and he sprinted about 80 yards to put pressure on their left winger. It wasn't very helpful in the end, but he ain't a defender. The attitude though.....excellent. He plays with belligerence.

I hope that's a bad example, cos 10 years afterward Gabby was still just running really really ridiculously fast in straight lines. I don't think I've seen a player since I started watching football that had less of a character arc. He scored goals because MON knew where to point him.
