I've not got the expansion yet. Is it good then? Does it unlock stuff from the start, or add extras through a normal playthrough?

Isn't it nice to be in a place where we don't desperately need a signing. It allows us to go for any opportunities that arise without being bent over a barrel. For what it's worth, if we could get a good up and coming RB, and/or Hybrid forward to help take the pressure off Zaniolo and unlock the increasing number of teams that will set up a low block against us, then I'd be delighted. Even that seems less of a concern now JJ is coming back. I know he's more of an Attacking Mid, but he can still serve that function.

For some reason the stats seem to have counted it. That must also be why their xG is 0.87, as tbh it was (if onside) a chance you would normally expect to score (thanks Dibu).

Add to this that Pep inherited a team that was already capable of competing for and winning the League, and Unai inherited a team that was 15th, with 12 pts from 12 games. And he's still beat him after 50 games. Utterly crazy.

OK, I've seen some quality managers over the years I've supported Villa, but after tonight, you know what, I'm gonna say it. Unai is the best Villa manager in my lifetime. If he stays for a while, we WILL win something.

I played EA Sports FC last night. It was a game against Man U, and I can confirm they are as irritating in that game as in real life. I have no idea how EA managed to capture the pure shithousery of them, but I battered them for 80mins, and they were saved by the woodwork, and in one case by Maguires pixelated arse, before hacking down one of my players (no foul-capturing PL refereeing perfectly), breaking and scoring a goal off Rashford's shin in the 97th minute. Man I hate that team.

I'm kinda nervous, but at the same time I think this is a bit of a free hit. I don't expect anything at all from this, so a draw+ would be incredible. I'm not holding my breath tho'.

I just want to watch the Villa games. I don't want 270 + games. Just Villa. That I can't reach the ground to see them all due to circumstances beyond my control should not in 2023 preclude me from seeing them imo.
