  1. If he can make the leap, he could be big for the team, as we can put round pegs in round holes. Not now Kenneth!
  2. Experiencing London as a tourist is ace. Working in London, as I sometimes have to do, us a massive anus ache.
  3. Bump got me worried. Glad he's well.
  4. Do you get that moment of tension after you post when you've noticed the mistake and you are editing, but hope no-one sees the post for about 30 seconds? I do and I hate that.
  5. Refs are allowed to play on after offsides to 'see where this is going', allowing VAR to pick it up later. Is it any wonder players are confused as to the finality of the referees decisions?
  6. Some good ideas there I think. I was thinking about a multiplier of the revenue of the lowest FFP compliant clubs, but no the average as you say would be better. Some sort of cap needs to be looked at now we have multi billionaires and state sponsored clubs involved.
  7. Only Emery can break a record with a 0-0 draw.
  8. Apologies because everyone seems to like the new leak. I really want to like it. I might be able to convince myself in time, but if I'm completely honest about my initial impressions, with the new lion detail it kind of looks like a sign outside a pub to me.
  9. Oh yeah, and there was the whole nearly destroying democracy insurrection thing.
  10. He told everyone he'd fix the economy and make them rich. He then oversaw the third biggest national debt increase in history. This happened prior to the pandemic, and didn't include any wars or civil wars, which the number 1 and 2 incumbents on that list had to deal with. He did that through tax cuts which made it feel to the punter like the economy was doing well, but it was and is in the shitter. He did the same with every facet of government, resulting in decade long problems that he will and has blamed the opposition for. Like he did with his own businesses, when he'd not pay subcontractors, and no one would work for him. His handling of Israel in 2020 was a **** disaster, that destabilised the whole region. He also nearly started a war with China in the first few months of office, and wrecked multilateral approaches to deal with climate change that still haunts the debate today. Oh and that's not including whatever the f*** Putin has over him, which when he gets elected will doom the Ukraine and may lead to all out war in Europe. He's. A. F***ing. Conman.
  11. Magnets work underwater. Tell your friends.
  12. Fair enough, I didn't realise that.
  13. Can we stop pretending now that Republicans aren't part of a cult, and are not all in for that dangerous cretin Trump?
  14. Was appointed, got Roma their first trophy in 11 years in his first season, spent almost nothing in the following years due to FFP (loans and frees), then got to Europa League Final, maintaining a 50% win rate in all competitions and top 6 league finishes. Sacked halfway through the season 9th in the league, and still in Europa League. Football has gone bonkers.
  15. Feels like Ty has been out for a hundred years.
  16. Last year Apollo 2000 developed the new Villa Hate-a-tron GT. It can hate Villa 4000 times a second. It's revolutionary. Albion fans are delighted as it frees up about 8 hours of their day.
  17. Threaten to join the super league? Remind the PL that they are 'kind of a big deal'?
  18. Any idea when these drop? I've been looking out for this batch for a while, now.
  19. I sincerely doubt Man City will be deducted 20 points. The authorities won't have the balls.
  20. Don't see it unless we've offloaded Bertie and Donk.
  21. That makes sense. Why aren't Man City subject to legal cases from, say liverpool or arsenal, though?
  22. It doesn't seem quite the same as this to me, more like both defendants were involved in the same ponzi scheme, but one covered their tracks better, and can hire better lawyers.
