Just don't think our back 4 gets much protection at the moment. Luiz is a good player, but isn't a proper defensive disrupter. Think we desperately need someone in that role. Nakamba but better, with the option of using a second DM against top teams or having Luiz drop back from a more central role for extra support as necessary.

Watched the Southampton game this weekend secretly hoping they tank the rest of the season so we could go for Ings. I would love to see him at villa.

He was all over the place after he came on. Watching the highlights back i’m not sure what position he was in. Scoring position is the obvious answer.

In fairness I really rate Ancellotti, but I guess that just reinforces the argument that Smith is doing well really.

Just seen the highlights of the England and Germany games. Seems these days that being a 'top' side seems to rely on being able to dive better than the opposition. If I was the Polish defender I would have picked Sterling up by the scruff and thrown him into the stands for being a cheating bugger. Germany got one as well, although the ref in that game was awful. Macedonia had a nailed on penalty for handball chalked off. -
I’d like him to fall into a pit if that helps?

I liked Tammy, but I’d go Edouard for 15mil. We’re not as desperate as we were last year, as Watkins has imo been exactly what we needed up top. Means we can take a bit of a risk in that position. Tammy would want to start, which imo would be harsh on Watto given his current form. If we got Eddy (can’t be arsed to spell his name more than once), we can tell Watkins that he keeps the shirt if he performs, and tell Eddy that if it’s up for grabs if he performs. Proper competition, without changing the team dynamic. Plus if he’s not brilliant, then we’ve not broken the bank. Simples.
