For me the absolute priorities in the summer are; Left Wing/Inside Forward, Right Wing/Inside Forward and Defensive Midfielder. That is where I'd spend the bulk of our cash.

I thought during pre-season in 1995 that Savo would wear his trademark bandanna in the Premier League, and that it would take the nation by storm. I also thought, whilst standing inthe Holte End each week that this week would be the one where Savo scored a hat trick, and would kick on to score 20 goals a season. I was partially right one week.

Since we had badge changes under Lerner, and i think Xia, although it might of been a smidge before he took over, and we’re talking about how cack they both were as owners, should we think about a change under NSWE? I for one don’t like our current crest. I think it’s too simplistic, and the colour is too light. Like baby puke. I would like some claret in there.

Paul Lambert is mine as well actually. I saw the job he’d done at Norwich, and how cohesive they looked even without possessing great talent, and I thought that he’d be a great fit at Villa. Also I thought when Benteke left us he’d develop into one of the best strikers on the continent. Bench at Crystal Palace

I’d still take in their prime Barry, Laurson, Olaf, and Milner over our current squad. And Gabby and Angel for our bench. Smith has done a good job with the players he has.

I don’t think I’ve ever really rated him though tbf. When it was him and Sturridge at England I thought it was the weakest strikeforce we’d had at national level for years.

Fantastic again tonight. Gotta love Ollie. Stayed on his feet and great finish for the goal. Harried and was a handful for their back line all day. Also, I don’t think his teeth get enough credit. Almost inconceivably good.
