I spent 3 months in India a few years ago. Sad to say I did not see any Villa shirts. A few Arsenal and Man U ones, but no Villa.
In fairness 99% of the population is obsessed with cricket anyway, so it would be a tough nut to crack.
Think it was lazy clickbait. Anyway Liverpool aren’t going to win anything, so I’m not sure why he’d want to move.
It would be great if someone could call some of these publications out for blatant fabrication. Media (and the world) would be much better if total falsehoods were prosecuted.
Seems to be a lot of smoke around about DMs at the moment, which is good. I think the last few weeks has shown us that we will have no idea how close we are to a signing, or who the actual target is, but if it just gives a glimpse of where on the pitch we’re looking, i’m happy. If we can get a decent signing in the midfield it will be the buy of the window for me.
Stats suggest both are good PL strikers, and we’d be well off with either, but we have Ings now, and I’m not sure why there is so much reticence over the signing.
Not sure why there is this backlash against Ings all of a sudden. He scored 22 goals in a season in the Premier League.
I like Tammy, but his best tally is 15.
Over the last 2 years Ings has scored 34 in 67, almost exactly 1 in 2.
Tammy has 21 in 56 games, which is closer to 1 in 3.
He also cost less than Tammy’s reported fee.
I don’t get why people are dissing Ings.
If you have the weapon you use it. Now we don’t we’ll set up differently. I have no doubt we’ll be decent this year once we’re up to speed, although as has already been discussed our pre season has been shite.
Without Jack I think a year of consolidation and similar position to last year beckons, before we really see what a properly assembled squad is capable of. I’m happy to be in the mix and competing in the PL again at the moment. These are good times to be a Villa fan, last two weeks notwithstanding.
