  1. Would you like a rebrand? You’re welcome.
  2. I think the Juventus rebrand actually gave me cancer.
  3. I think some people at the time must have thought the signing of Downing and Delph was sufficient to cover the loss of Barry, and that the club was still moving forward.
  4. Meh, i’ll take it. Better than the fish last time.
  5. When people talk about cost, I kind of feel that they don’t look at both sides of the coin. The monetary value for improving league position is immense. The difference in prize money alone between finishing 11th, where we were, and 4th, which is the upper end of realistic if we get the breaks and….perhaps sign JWP…. was £26M last year. Technically all we’ve done is replaced Grealish, and we have a -£10M net spend. If we bought JWP for £45M, and we end up 4th, in real terms we would have spent £9M on transfers this summer.
  6. Bottom right for me is almost ideal.
  7. At the risk of a backlash, I really don’t like the blue on the current crest. It’s too light imo.
  8. Nah man. The yellow used to stand out.
  9. With the exception of the Werder Bremen crest, which looks like my 6 year old son designed it, the Germans are pretty good at this sort of thing. Dortmund’s is simple but stark and threatening. Much like my wife.
  10. I have nostalgia for this too looked great in stitching. In fairness the only issue I have with it is the font.
  11. It’s a beaut, aint it? Got gravitas.
  12. Awful preseason for us, will take a while to get up to speed. Can see this being a laboured draw, prior to us kicking up a notch.
  13. That backheel was brutal. The goalkeeper is serving fries now.
  14. He would in the tunnel before the game started. That little turd would shit himself. Shit shitting shit.
  15. Holy Christ. Can you imagine Neymar going up against him? That would be freaking hilarious. Crumble his pansy ass into a fine silt.
  16. I agree to an extent but he only played 13 games last year. Can he take another step and be the main man this season? I think for all our discussion only our staff who see him day in and day out can answer that with any certainty.
  17. Despite the somewhat sanitised interview I thought that there were some interesting take aways, and as always Dean comes across well. Firstly with the isolation as well (glad Dean’s wife is ok), it adds to the ‘preseason has been cack’ narrative. Also it’s clear that progression and in particular European qualification remains the objective, despite Jack leaving. Despite explaining Jack’s reasoning there still felt like some ill feeling toward his departure compared with how effusive DS was about Terry. Lastly he said he had almost a full squad to select against Watford, so perhaps our fitness worries were less pronounced than thought.
