  1. Where was he? Thought he might have travelled to support the lads. Great reaction tho’
  2. Their fans are so plastic and entitled. He is under pressure for losing to plebs. Hope it’s us against them at Villa Park that gets him sacked. And I hate people losing their jobs. They are all nasty pieces of work.
  3. Mike Dean does have his own song. Not sure the filter on here would like it very much.
  4. Could be worse, we could have had Mike Dean next week against Spurs. We know he likes it when they score.
  5. YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Think we’ll probably struggle today, but I must admit, this game is probably the one I would most want us to win all season. As always, Man U need desmugification.
  7. Fair enough. Is the program they follow not a rehab schedule? I have no idea what it would be called, or who has responsibility for what. It was just idle musing.
  8. Interesting, certainly. As far as I understand it this is also why pre-season is set at a high intensity (as well as to get rid of off season pies). Sounds an awful fine line to me. If I'm a Physio, I must admit I would probably want to make it so players are not injured during my rehab schedules (for which I would take some blame presumably). If they get injured on the pitch later it can be chalked up to misadventure. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
  9. I assumed it meant Premier League 2 (the U23's league)?
  10. Archer scored his goals in the EFL (admittedly three were against Barrow), rather than in the B league or Under 23's. To compare- Davis has 9 appearances in the EFL since 2017, and has 2 goals. U23 comparison: Davis - 24 appearances (since 2016) - 6 goals (0.25 gpg) Archer- 27 appearances (since 2018) - 9 goals (0.33 gpg) Wesley has a similar number of apps in the Premier League (25) returning 5 goals. (0.20 gpg)
  11. Four times! Not yet in the Prem, but I think he'll get a chance at some point.
  12. Do we have to decide yet, though? Let's just do what we did with Wes. Get them all out on loan, and whoever makes something of themselves can come back.
  13. Yeah, weird how that happens, sometimes isn't it. It's like making it in films- yes you have to have talent and the right face, but sometimes it happens for you and sometimes it doesn't. Luck really.
  14. True, but Barry showed some of that against Liverpool, and now he's driving tractors in Ipswich (which is what I assume they do when not playing).
  15. But again, even with our first team, we lose that game on paper. Champions league game next week or not, they fielded £100M of striker that we don't have.
  16. I'm interested in the way Tuchel fares this year. I think we'll find out what he's made of sooner rather than later, as there is nowhere to hide in the Prem. I personally hope he lives up to the hype, as it can only be good for the competition to have the best players and coaches in the world.
  17. Or the obvious alternative, which is less flattering for Frank.
  18. I'm not sure of your point. Are you trying to say that we lost because we didn't play our first team? Because we don't have a £100M striker at the club. On paper Chelsea should beat us whoever we play.
