People were writing Emi2 off earlier this season, but sometimes it just takes time to settle and bring the noize. Some folks take whole seasons to get to the right place mentally and physically. Very pleased we’re finally seeing him show what we all knew he was capable of. Plus the time it takes for a coach to fully appreciate how to best deploy a new signing can’t be underestimated. Think we’re getting to that stage now.

I see a few folks saying sell Cash. Unless we recall Freddie, I don’t see that we have nearly enough depth at RB for that.

Bailey absolutely can play in this system. I have no doubt at all. When Coutinho came on he was picking it up deep almost in a mezzala role and driving forward taking folks on. Worked a treat. Bailey can do exactly the same with full backs bombing on to provide width. 100%. If anything I worry about how Traore fits in this system.

The Ings signing seems to have broken him. Ollie was great last year.

Certainly not against top teams. You could argue that our comeback yesterday was partly down to United putting too much in to the early phase

You can’t ignore an aspect of management that your predecessor put in place though. That’s not how management works. It wasn’t his problem. It is now. nb I agree about Ings and Ollie. One or t’other for me now. Especially as we have Phillipe, and young can do a job

Not to say i’m not disappointed, but we lose to Man Ux2, Chelsea, Liverpool, and fair play, Brentford, and we’ve had it with Stevie G and in a relegation battle? Bollocks to that. Perspective.

Agree 100%. That said if he can stay on, managing Norwich in the Championship is a decent gig, and could turn into a platform to long term success. Suspect he’ll do what he did at Villa then lose his job to a European no mark when they are back in the Prem.
