America has reached a stage where a criminal conviction is an endorsement, a badge of honour for a presidential candidate because it proves that 'the establishment' want to take him down.
And said candidate seeks a voting bloc consisting of people who think the world is run by a secret cabal of Satan worshipping child molesters.
Total societal collapse is the inevitable endgame here.
I've found it a bit superficial at times, but it's certainly watchable. The last episode which tries to explain Wales as a country to Americans was very funny I thought.
I wonder how instrumental this series has been, if at all, to the inclusion of the Vanarama National in Fifa 23?
I've kind of been avoiding it because a mate mentioned that...
I'm not sure if that is the case or he was winding me up, but the original was a big part of my childhood and led me into 18 years of kickboxing training. I don't think I could take it if it spoils the original for me.
Is it true? (Spoiler box as necessary).
Everyone knows that no army fights harder than one made up of conscripts who so desperately wanted to avoid fighting they were willing to emigrate. Elite.
Reminds me of a war museum I went to in Vietnam. No acknowledgement of Vietnamese casualties in a battle where their casualties outnumbered American casualties by a factor of five. Typical communist prop, unfortunately.
And he came to us while languishing in the bottom half and took us up at the first time of asking, or are you arguing that Bruce did the prep work for that?
I've been a boss of many folks, and I can't imagine having that position without compassion. Everyone has personal issues to a lesser or greater degree, and sacking someone (which I've had to do) is a horrible experience for any right thinking boss.
One of the most riveting parts of the parade was a guard slowly marching toward a big pile of poo. Me and the missus were taking bets on whether the guard would walk round it or through it. 30 seconds of pure anticipation.
Voting in a general election has nothing to do with the monarchy. With respect you telling someone what they should or should not be doing or feeling, less still.
And no I'm not a monarchist myself, and I'm working today.
Seconded, I love visiting London as a tourist but I hate working there.
One underused facility that I try to use if I'm there for a day, is to travel by car to Uxbridge or Ickenham down the M40 and park and ride the tube into town. All day parking is about £6 or so, and there is no traffic stress. Would recommend.
Everything Everywhere all at once. Absolutely loved it. Deep without being cod, but covers family, nihilism, mental health, just stacks and stacks to pull out of it. Not all of it works, but it's ambition is mind blowing.
Captain Marvel was meh.
Really liked Black Widow, although I think Florence Pugh outshone the lead.
Not seen Shang Chi or Eternals
Hated Doc Strange 2, turned off after about 30 mins, although a few have said I should persevere.
Thor L&T I quite liked. It's a mess, but there are some funny parts for sure. Also thought Bale was a good villain.
Only seen Wandavision of the TV stuff, but liked it.
