How many PMs and different policy agendas have there been since the public gave the tories a Mandate? 2 of the former, and 3 of the latter? Possibly 3 and 4 by the end of the day. They have no mandate for what is going on now. None. General effing election!!
Also interesting that our record in the last 5 is identical to Bournemouth in 11th, and is better than Brighton in 8th, Brentford in 10th, Fulham in 12th, Southampton in 14th, and Leeds in 16th. Crystal Palace in 10th, West ham in 13th, and Everton in 15th all have slightly better records in the last 5 games by virtue of an extra win over one of our draws.
The league is still wide open at the moment. Outside the top six no team has won more than 2 games out of the last 5. And only 2 teams have not registered at least one win in that period.
Sad to say, I think this is inevitable. It makes too much money, and owners think that the public are chumps who will do as they are told and just give their money away like good little consumers. And they are right, they will.
The big clubs are starting to see themselves as churches, and donations must be made by the congregation.
Honestly it f***ing sickens me.
He looked a couple of inches off the ground to me. How far off the ground is too far off the ground? I thought the point of the off the ground rule is that it effectively impacts the ankle, while allowing the recipients foot to remain planted on the ground, which will with enough force break the ankle. To me, that tackle qualifies as an ankle breaker, as he's impacted the ankle. If JJs foot did not give way and slide out because he was lifting it, he's buggered. It's a megashit challenge and a red for me.
You can't convince me the Chilwell tackle was not a red card. Reckless, out of control, studs up, off the ground, not looking at the ball, nowhere near getting the ball. Isn't that the definition of a red card challenge? By what metric would it be anything else?
Yeah I lost my business because of the impacts of Covid. No help at all other than to furlough, which meant a choice of a little bit of income while operating, or no income while furloughed. Insurance costs rose during that time by 50%, and there were no payment holidays obtainable for us. Either pay, or be uninsured, and lose backdated insurance/warranty for works undertaken. Those were my options. I'm sure someone somewhere got some help, but it wasn't us. Insurance costs killed us in the end. Now I have......a Boss! (Bleurgh)
No I've gone off them because it's become obvious that their fans are entitled mustard-mongers, who wouldn't know a good manager if one slapped them round the head with one of Delia's breakfast kippers. Is that any clearer?
