  1. In fairness, if we don't win something in the next few years we never will. This is the most talented England squad in my lifetime.
  2. Kids have no idea of politics. I'd rather mine didn't at their age if i'm honest.
  3. Imagine being knackered after 70 minutes and Foden and Grealish came on. Christ that would suck.
  4. True, but how many times have we seen sides that dig in like this restrict chances and be difficult to break down. Three goals in the first half against that approach is decent imo.
  5. For all the 'discussions' of GS's ideologies, the tactics have been spot on for this type of game. Credit where it's due.
  6. Iran will struggle to keep this below 5 at this rate. Their tactics of sitting back and striking are worthless now.
  7. We're going to have 12 mins added this half already? Keeper should have been off straight away.
  8. I seem to remember the Stonecutters 'holding back the electric car' in that episode. Someone should tell Elon.
  9. Shut up Piers, you two bit controversy pimp. If they'd have shown the opening ceremony he would have had a go that they were shamefully not highlighting the human rights stuff. He really is one of the worst human beings occupying precious oxygen.
  10. Missed the game, can't find any highlights. Anyone know of anywhere?
  11. I'm merely speculating at the possibility that Ecuador may have been offered a great deal of money to lose the game against Qatar.
  12. Started noodling on The Division 2 last night. Quite like the meld of fps and open world rpg. Not epoch shattering, but seems quite a nice little diversion. Also finally got round to getting Gran Turismo 7 and I admit I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would with it's archaeic rolling starts from the back of the grid. Not sure how much of that is nostalgia from earlier editions though.
  13. I see what he's saying, but if the public decide it will be Lord Ant and Lord Dec. I don't think anything good can come of complex and dangerous policies passed by the house being debated and (not) vetoed by Lord Olly Murs.
  14. So they had no idea what they were voting for, or on, but they still voted. Nah, they can do one. No sympathy at all. It was the casual voters that resulted in a Brexit victory. It took a brain and 10 minutes of internet research to see through the bus of lies. Even then, if you don't understand why you are voting, don't vote.
  15. Sadly this is still as prescient nearly 9 years after it was released.
  16. Yeah, but the real news will be replaced entirely by fake news and propaganda. Those who don't leave the site, and there will be millions and millions will be subjected to nothing but lies.
  17. Honestly I don't have much time for people who changed their mind on this topic following the utterly predictable damage caused to the country. I hope never to meet or speak to one in real life.
