See I thought that, but looking back through this thread, and people were not happy with him. At all. I don't think I saw one post suggesting we keep him permanently (there probably was one, but I'm not trawling through all day to find it. You get my point.)

On your list, based on the players you've put in each, you seem to have categories for '6 type' midfielders, and '10 type' midfielders, but no '8 types' (hope that makes sense, it sounded better in my head). There are the S/S roles, but I can't help but think that a midfield (using those categories) containing Diaby/Buendia, Barkley/Tielemans and Kamara might be a bit top heavy. There would be huge pressure on Kamara to hold the line and win the ball back on transitions. I guess that is where Dougie was useful, helping out. If we add another category- CM (8 type), we can only really put McGinn into that category at the moment. Do we need another all round CM?

I hardly saw anything of Luton last year, so can someone who has fill me in on what has changed with him? Was looking back around pages 125 to 130 in this thread, and people were speculating that he had a clause in his loan contract that he had to play when unfit, cos his performances were so poor. Was it just a fitness and injury thing then?

I was there that year, and the crowd was prohibitive. Anyway, ive been loads of times, but not been able to get tickets for more than a decade now. Maybe they have improved infrastructure? There seems more stages now too, which will dilute the crowd. And Bowie? I was never much of a fan, but when I saw that gig, I knew what stage presence meant. I knew he'd walked on stage without seeing him. It was inexplicable and magical.

How would that have ended, were it Trump instead of JFK? Either he would have allowed Russia to set up camp in Cuba, which would have ultimately led to WW3, or he would have gone gung ho, leading to WW3.

They'll renege on Paris accords and Climate Change will ravage the middle Eastern countries and cause massive flooding and forest fires everywhere. America will be like idiocracy, as all semblance of evidence based education is disassembled. Trump is going to win.

I've played NHL a lot. The franchise is way deeper than EA Sports FC. If they did it for FC, i'd love it. Anyway the key for me was when I realised that you don't play it like fifa, You don't have to move or sprint everywhere all the time. You are on ice. Play like you are on ice. When you reach the right speed/vector, just let go of the controls and coast. Less is more.

They need competition for sure. Funny thing is, I remember during the PS2 era that I always used to buy the 2K sports games, because they were much more detailed, deeper experiences. I would love if Sports Interactive developed a playable game, with elements of FM. Will never happen of course, but a man can dream.
