    What separates a panic bid from a regular bid? Do we drive over to the parent club in a redlined sports car, knocking over shopping carts full of cans, and smashing a window being carried slowly across a road by workmen, screech to a halt in the club car park, and run sweatily into the reception before throwing a clammy handful of transfer documents into the face of a bewildered receptionist and shouting 'GOOOOOOOO!!!' at the top of our lungs? Just wondering.

    I did martial arts for 18 years and regardless of any acting ability (which I didn't think he was too bad at tbf), growing up Wesley Snipes was right up there with my favourite screen practitioners. His combination of poise and power were incredible.

If I'd seen him play half as rubbish as some of the players who kept their shirt since he's been here, then I could understand why he's hardly played.     Hopefully the supply chain will do the same with respect to supermarkets. For all the PR, people's champion, we're on your side stuff, when I used to do contract jobs for Tesco, they were by some distance the worst retailer at squeezing suppliers and generally making life as difficult as possible for us. To the point where we binned them off and just worked for their competitors. Aldi and Sainsburys were the opposite. Always courteous, paid on time and didn't use their leverage to squash us to oblivion.

    I don't know all that much about Guendouzi, but I must admit I thought he was more of a defensive player?

    Young is up there with our players of the season for me. Whilst he may have lost a yard of pace he brings so much experience and guile to the team. He's obviously not a long term option, but right now he's quality. If Cash has any sense he will be watching everything Ashley is doing and learning.

    Good first half, some very nice approach play, and good attitude to grind out a result against tricky opposition. We're not far off being a really good side. But that said, get the cheque book out and sign a f**king striker. Today. Before today, yesterday. We should have been home and hosed before the drone strike.
